  I was in town to enjoy my Birthday week and Joe’s was calling my name!! The view was the evening on the Riverwalk in Summertime, IYKYK. Marcus was our server, he was wonderful!! He gave great recommendations, was attentive, and he was cautious of our food allergies (tomato)!! I give Marcus a 10/10, he was a whole vibe!! Now let’s talk food … We would have ate in silence, but we couldn’t stop raving about every bite!! We had the crab stuffed mushrooms and the crab & shrimp dip for appetizers, oh so good!! The dip was recommended by Marcus as his favorite, and it is now our favorite too!! The mushrooms were also super tasty and come in as a favorite for us too!! 10/10 The pasta (normally has tomato) was made fresh and had tons of flavor, I really loved that the seafood was fresh and the crab meat was big enough to identify, they did not hold back on flavor!! A comment at our table, was the love of different flavors across the meals!! The Captain’s meal was fantastic!! We also had the Shark Attack, which was the perfect amount of tipsy to make me feel like I was eating seafood on a boat!!   No nos quisieron atender, la hoster no nos permitió entrar no hablamos inglés y le preguntamos si hablaba español y solo dijo No. Fue en la sucursal de River Walk. Optamos por Bubba Gump aunque la hoster tampoco habla español nos invitó a pasar y que eligiéramos a donde sentarnos. Se nota la diferencia

  Our server was Vontese and we went to this Joe’s Crab Shack on 04/18/26. Exceptional service. Checked on us constantly. She was friendly and very professional. She would be the reason why we come back and the food of course. Thanks making us feel at home!!!

  Ordered appetizers and entree together. Entree came out first. 2 different boils the New Orleans style was huge. The Joes classic had 2 small crab clusters one corn 4 shrimp and 2 potatoes that's all didn't even get the sausage. Finally finished eating the entrees the appetizers came out. Sat with an empty beer for over 20 minutes. Didn't even get apology for the delayed appetizers. Worst Joe's Crab Shack experience ever.

  I went to Joe's crab Shack on the Riverwalk this Saturday to celebrate my daughters birthday and had the most horrible experience. We initially walked up to be seated and they acted very confused. I thought maybe they were crowded. Only to get inside and they were not. They seated us at the table near the bar. There were 4 of us total. The waitress came and took our drink orders and brought them back. She then took our food order. We ordered the Oyster Rockefeller, The sampler appetizer, a fully loaded burger meal, and two crab and shrimp pastas. The food never came. The kids began to go to sleep we waited over an hour. While everyone around us even people who came in after us received their food right away. No one even asked if we were okay well over an hour. I began to look around for a manager so I asked a random waiter and she said she would get one. That even took a while. When the manager finally came and I told her what was going on. She was nonchalant about it as well. She said she would see what was going on and never came back to address the issue. Maybe a another 15 minutes followed and then the food came out. It wasn't even all of it. Then our original waitress came over and said sorry about the food taking so long it was because of the hamburger.  I told her ma'am we ordered appetizers to and never received anything. This is crazy. She then looks down and says oh your oysters are on the way. About 5 minutes past and a guy comes up to us and says oh they are making your oysters. I began to tell him that is okay we don't even want them. He then says the manager took care of them and took 30 dollars off my bill. The oysters never came. Another 15 minutes pass and I'm over it. We are not even hungry and I'm highly upset. I just flag the original waitress down and ask can she give us togo boxes. She then says let me get them to box up your oysters. I'm shaking my head. She apologizes again and states she is the only one working the bar and that was why she couldn't help us. I also wanted to note they were fully staffed employees were walking around jumping on eachothers back and playing around. She immediately brought the bill out. That was the quickest thing all night. It didn't end there she never came back for the payment. I waited so long. I just began to stare her down until she came over. The wait was horrible! The service was horrible! Everything was horrible! Will not be going back ever! My daughter was so disappointed for her birthday and I'm quite disgusted myself.
