  Visiting from AZ, the familia and I...stopped in and the wonderful Norma was our beautiful server. She was simply beyond extraordinary as a server. Her energy and vibe was something to be admired and recognized. I hope when I come back and visit she is still working here.

  I will definitely be back to Willie's. Their food is delicious and Ashia was very helpful and friendly. She helped me with my to go order, my Willie's App was not working. The Texas fried chicken club is delicious and the veggies were so good. Also, the appetizer fried mushrooms and pickles with ranch is delicious as well, a great way to start the meal.

  This is a hybrid self-service restaurant. You order at the front, and bring your card to your table. I ordered mozzarella sticks. Lukewarm…a little cold, too. Evidently heat-lamped, but poorly. Taste is bland, reminds me of the ones you buy at the grocery store. Marinara was boring. Ranch was ranch. The fountain diet Dr. Pepper is not very crisp. Chicken tenders and onion rings…tenders are very small. Nicely cooked, these are fresh, but bland. Like Cane’s. Honey mustard…inoffensive, but not good. Onion rings are bland, and the breading doesn’t stick well whatsoever. Onto the Willie burger and fries…fries are kinda warm, taste acceptable. The burger’s bottom bun is soaked through and falling apart. It’s good though! Nice flavor profile, good amount of pink in the patty. All of this for $43 before tip. The staff is nice enough. The venue is kinda cool as they can open up most of the restaurant to the outside using garage doors. Kids are running around, but this isn’t necessarily the restaurant’s fault. So as with about everything else in San Antonio; this place sucks. But, if you had to come here, just order a burger and call it done. My waitress gave me a to-go drink without me asking, so again, the staff isn’t the problem.

  Not really busy at HWY 151 location, so couldn't understand why our waitress did not check on us more often? The food was ok, my wife said the shrimp was overdone, and my chicken fried steak was had too much breading on it and the steak was a little rubbery. But the big thing was that when we got the bill, I paid with $100 bill. When I got my change, I was missing the $.55. Why did she feel like that was ok? Is this happening at all the Willie's or just the one on Hwy 151 in San Antonio? If this is Willie's policy, then it should be posted somewhere in the restaurant so that everyone can see it. And if it's not, then management should have a talk to the wait staff regarding this.

  Food was GREAT. Our server was very busy being sociable with other servers. The place wasn't busy at all, yet we had to take our beverages back up to the counter to get our drinks refilled. Requests for more ketchup were forgotten. I finally got up and pulled one off a nearby table. It was delicious food with lousy service. But our server enjoyed her time chatting with her server friends in the corner. Sad experience at this location. Spent $50 at lunch for two people. Service wrecked it for us. We won't go back to THIS location.
