Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ms. Annie at Whataburger is an absolute gem. She was genuinely kind, helpful, attentive, and funny from the moment we interacted with her. She went above and beyond during our visit, and it never felt forced—it felt sincere.
Whataburger is truly fortunate to have an employee like Ms. Annie. Even more impressive than what she did was how she made people feel. She brought warmth, positivity, and energy that lifted everyone around her. You could see it not just in our experience, but in how she connected with others as well.
Customer service like this is rare, and it made our visit memorable. Huge thank-you to Ms. Annie for setting the bar so high.

service was amazing,we were helped by a girl named Kennady who was super helpful and patient when my 5 year old son was ordering for his first time!!!! would definitely recommend!

01/01/2026 - 8:35 My husband and daughter just came from this location and yes it was busy, but I placed my online order at 6:40 to be picked up at 7:40. My husband came home and my order was wrong. My drink my was incorrect it was supposed to be Fuze Raspberry tea but it was sweet tea, my burger only had mustard but I ordered it with everything plus bacon. July daughter’s hr burger only had ketchup no veggies. I orders two gravies but only got one and that one was only filled a quarter of the way. My large fries were not filled fully.
I called and spoke with the manager Janie. Before I could even let her know what was wrong with my order she stated that there were more than 100 customers waiting and that I would have to come back another day to pick up my corrected food items! No apologies just excuses! I knew I shouldn’t have had my husband come to this location. We ALWAYS have issues with this location. Do better because I have been going to In and Out or Burger Boy because of these issues with Whataburger. I guess I will continue to take my business elsewhere!

The food was okay, the service is lacking. It feels like there is a very ineffective system when it comes to the dining room/pick up. At least 9 people were standing in the lobby with only one team member working up front all while other team members just passed by and ignored everything. It just felt like the dining room was a second thought and drive through is the most important thing.

Unbelievably slow. They have two-lane drive-thru and it seems as though one person is running both lanes. It takes about 15-20 min total in the drive-thru every time I’ve been here (around 10 times).
The drive-thru staff is very nice, though, while interacting. And the food is good too.
