Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported long wait times, particularly in the drive-thru, with some experiences exceeding 30 minutes.

What the blazes is up with the sticky seats?? There is always something stuck to the seat like salt that you can’t wipe off before you can sit down. Geeze….

Don't know who did the gravy yesterday morning but dang it was good. Not runny but stick to your ribs. Fresh jalapeno biscuits was a nice surprise. Very polite even with me in their drive-thru lane with my semi.

I will day it's late however it wasn't busy when I pulled up. Waited almost 15 min and the fries and burger we were waiting for were cold....why did we wait if it was cold already. Bummer and waste of money. If I wanted cold leftovers I would have stayed home
