Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers praised the friendly and helpful staff, particularly highlighting individual employees like Ayana and Maria for their excellent service.

Surprised this location doesn’t have more stars. Best Whataburger meal I’ve had in over a year. Whatever this place is doing with the food needs to translate everywhere. Hot and crispy fries and a burger cooked/made to perfection. Seriously amazing.

Ordered the biscuit meal, asked for no cheese. They put cheese. Asked to upgrade to a large coffee, the cup is about 3/4 full.
Its the airport location. No time to complain?

Visited at SAT airport. Was first customer in line when store opened at 4:00am. Placed order which totaled $11.23 and handed worker a $20 bill. When I received my change, I was shorted $0.52. I understand merchants do not handle penny’s but when I informed worker of the shortage, her response was “this is all the change I have”. If true, why was I not informed without asking. Also, it is bad enough when paying with cash, the customer is shorted penny’s because the merchant rounds up but then to be told you lose the the any other change due because the location did not have the appropriate change in the cash drawer when the location opened is unreasonable.
