Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported slow service, long wait times, and frequent order mistakes.

Came here for a late night meal, and asked to use a reward and checkout. Jawan (cashier) proceeded to tell us the reward was used but we still paid full price and the reward was not used (it’s still in my account). On top of that, we got the complete wrong order and had to get off inside to get everything fixed. Jawan and another employee (who wasn’t wearing a name tag) proceeded to tell us we never said anything about a reward and then said we had the right order. I had to literally tell them everything was wrong and then they just walked away and when I asked when our order would be ready they just didn’t answer. I understand it’s a night crew but that was the worst Whataburger experience I’ve ever had.

We are coming from out of state from the Midwest where we don't have a whataburger anywhere, so we decided to give it a shot to see what it's all about. They definitely have one of the best fast food burgers I've tried, it competes with in n out in my opinion. The onion rings were extremely fresh and good for fast food as well. It was worth the stop for us!

Don’t go there in the mornings their service is extremely slow, and if you have a job in anywhere that you need to be, you will be standing in the drive-through forever or in the lobby

I experienced very bad service this morning. I entered the restaurant this morning and not one single person in line. The workers behind the counter just stood there and looked at me, not caring that a customer was at the counter ready to order. They all saw that I was standing there and even the person that was running drive thru glanced at me, and kept walking. One of the workers who was just standing there decided to go tell the manager that I was standing there, it took her a minute to come, roll back the cameras and they would see the entire footage. This world has become so judgmental against one another and that is not good. What has this world become. The manager came and I told her what happened, with such a non caring attitude, took my order , and went about her way. The sandwich was sloppy and the cinnamon roll was cold and stale. I will not stop there ever again!
