Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Christmas is coming up and they had the grinch at the window. Very poor communication as in Not a word from team member ALEXIS handing me my things and seemed so bothered when I asked for ketchup. She shouldn’t be at the window dealing with customers if she’s gonna have an attitude like that. Handed me the wrong order too

Line was long. Took forever to get my food. Asked for my burger plain and dry. The put mustard on it and then must have realized what they did and tried to scrape it off. Got home and went to take a bite, it tasted off realized after 2 more bites. Don't go here.

I really try to give this Whataburger chance after chance, but the service has been disappointing for months now. The line is always long, and the wait times are consistently terrible. Even with a line of people waiting in the drive thru , the team never seems to have any sense of urgency — several employees are usually just standing around while the line barely moves.
And when the food finally does come out, the fries are almost always cold. It’s frustrating to wait that long only to get food that isn’t even fresh.
We love Whataburger, but this location really needs better leadership and faster, more attentive service. It shouldn’t take this long every single visit
