Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported slow service, especially during peak hours, with long wait times in both drive-thru and dine-in.

I’ve never seen a Whataburger as busy as it was today. Staff is hustling, taking care of everybody, still getting orders out fast, no extra waits. Food was perfect. Awesome location thank you very much.

Latesha night manager or maybe a team lead thought she was all tough not giving me my food just because I could not confirm my order. If the customer has paid for the order what is it to you to hold it. Decrimination is what that is called just cause my discription does not match your image. It's fast food lady not anything valuable..

10/07/2025 I've been going to Whataburger since 1990, This location is the worst one I've ever been in; the mens restroom was filthy and disgusting, the ordering counter area, the floor was sticky your feet shoes stuck to floor, the young lady that took my order doesn't know what breakfast taco is, what a breakfast sausage biscuit is either, ok, this is going to take awhile, the seating area where we sat all 4 tables were dirty and know one was in this restaurant at this time no one but me and my wife, the coffee was cold had to wait, told them I'll drink water instead, when our order came out the breakfast taco was greasy the egg was over cooked the sausage in the biscuit was under cooked, NOTE all the personal on duty should be fired especially the on duty manager for not doing his or hers job, I'll never eat in this Whataburger location again.
