Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous reviews highlighted poor customer service experiences, including rude staff and unprofessional behavior.

Service Speed
Customers frequently reported long wait times, especially during peak hours, leading to frustration.
Inconsistent Experience
Overall, the experience varied greatly, with some customers having excellent visits while others faced numerous issues.

I’ve never had such a rude experience at a Whataburger before. Lauren, the one taking orders over the speaker, was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She couldn’t hear me, I couldn’t hear her, and instead of trying to fix the issue, she got irritated with me when I had to repeat myself several times.
I even tried to politely suggest that maybe her headset needed to be reset since it sounded muffled — instead of handling it like an adult, she snapped back and told me I should “get out of my truck and talk to her manager.”
So I did. I went inside, and of course, the manager was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, she’s inside causing a scene and acting like I was the problem. The whole situation was embarrassing and completely unnecessary.
This is not the kind of person who should be representing Whataburger or our neighborhood location. She clearly doesn’t care about customer service, the customers themselves, or the reputation of the restaurant.

This place needs updating and a refresh; One of the dirtiest grungiest WBs I've ever been in! The bathroom was more disgusting than an avg I-35 gas station (with lock codes on the doors no less). Slow service for dine-in even during for off-peak time. Avoid until they fix!

Food at Whataburger is usually always great. I went here two days in a row and both times they got my order wrong. If you're okay with bad service and you're okay with them getting your orders wrong and waiting extra long go to this whataburger. The customer service has noticeably gone down since all they do now is hire kids that rarely care

Very good place to eat and clean. But always check your food to make sure everything is there.
