Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Since I started eating whataburger again. each time I come through the drive thru my order is wrong. I asked for a #22 biscuit sandwich, get asked if I want it Egg, Cheese, and Sausage or Egg, Cheese, and Bacon, I said sausage, go figure they gave me a sandwich with just sausage on it. The egg and cheese should be on the sandwich by default. If I just wanted a sausage patty I would have ordered the specific item on the menu labeled biscuit with sausage. The time before I asked for jalapenos on my bacon double cheese burger and it was missing the bacon and they gave me a jalapeno in a baggy that tasted like pickle. I stopped eating whataburger for about 2 years, now I guess I'll stop wasting my money hoping it'll get better and will either stay away from this location or whataburger as a whole again.

Bad Experience – Sunday Morning Visit I stopped at this Whataburger early Sunday morning with my fiancé. We ordered a double and a triple cheeseburger and politely asked for our entire meal, including fries, to be made fresh. We were told yes. When we pulled up to the drive‑thru, the employee at the window was visibly unprofessional — she wasn’t even wearing a bra, which made the interaction uncomfortable. Still, we thanked her and went home. Once home, the fries were barely warm and so heavily salted they couldn’t be reheated. I called the store and spoke with the manager, Myra Peña, to request that our food be remade since we would have to drive all the way back. We reassured her we would return the entire uneaten order because it was inedible. She still refused to remake the burgers, saying only the fries could be replaced or that we could get a refund. It was not a partial refund — it was the whole meal we were returning — yet she refused to honor that. Myra did not want to serve a complete fresh meal, and she didn’t care that we had to waste our time and gas driving back because her team couldn’t do their jobs correctly the first time. That is the definition of rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. On a Sunday morning during the holiday season, when customers expect the bare minimum of respect and quality, this location failed completely. Management does not care about customers, and the staff lacks professionalism. Avoid this location.

On more then one occasion i have gone thru the drive thru to order a buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich, i always ask for no cheese, and somehow they forget the buffalo and ranch, the 2 main components of this sandwich. This has happened 3 seperate times, 2 of them during the last run of this menu item. Always check before leaving the drive thru!!!!
