Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My hamburger is always cold and I ask for hot fries and still get them cold. This place use to be one of my favorites . I have given it too many chances to change. I’m done and not going back. Hamburgers are made to eat hot not cold.

The young lady struggled to take my simple order and I had to repeat myself twice. She continued to question my order and I offered to start over but she told me to drive to the window. Once at the window, the young lady read back my order correctly. When we arrived home and set the table, I discovered that the burgers did not have cheese. I packed up everything, returned the Whataburger and requested the manager for a refund. The manager happen to be the person that struggled taking my order. I calmly explained my reason for refund. No attempt to right the wrong in order to save a customer. Went down the road to the Longhorn Cafe where my order was easily understood and provided with their great burgers. No more driving through this particular Whataburger as it was rather frustrating and then to get the order wrong. Plenty of other places to go for good service and burgers
