Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
While many customers enjoyed the burgers and fries, there were consistent complaints about food quality, including cold or improperly prepared items.
Service Speed
Customers frequently reported long wait times, especially during busy hours, with some experiencing delays of over 20 minutes.
Customer Service
The staff received mixed reviews; while some employees were praised for their friendliness and attentiveness, others were criticized for impatience and poor service.
Order Accuracy
Numerous reviews highlighted issues with incorrect orders, with many customers expressing frustration over missing items or wrong orders.
Cleanliness
Several customers noted that the restaurant was clean and well-maintained, contributing positively to their dining experience.

Worst location manager ever, l wish l can give 0 star it took them almost 20 minutes to get one burger and when spoke with the manager she was very rude and careless about it.
Stay away from this branch.

Used to like this location but had THE most condescending service from the employee there. He was tall, skinny and had a ponytail and glasses possibly with man boobs. He acted like he didn't want to serve us at all and had THE worst attitude just trying to clarify the order. Then we waited for our order like we weren't even there. Seemed like they could care less here. Shame

First time at this chain, food was good service was bad. An associate named “Olly” took our order was impatient even let out an “ugh” when asked a question. Associate should remain in back to avoid any further negative customer experience.

What burger had a special place in my heart, it was amazing.
Now after being bought out, quality has tanked dramatically, not worth the price or the wait anymore. Sad to see something gmthat used to be good destroyed by corporate greed.
