Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’m extremely disappointed with Whataburger after our recent visit. My husband’s burger was completely messed up, so he politely went back to the counter to ask if they could remake it correctly. Instead of fixing their mistake, the staff just handed him two slices of cheese and some bacon in a wrapper like that was supposed to solve the problem.
No apology, no effort to remake the burger, and honestly just poor customer service all around. When you pay for a meal, you expect it to be made right — and if it isn’t, the bare minimum should be fixing it properly. This felt lazy and disrespectful, and it definitely ruined our experience. We won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.

They've brought the Chicken Fajita back for a moment (I've calmed down now from them taking it away LOL) and who's so glad they did, is ME! Can we put it back on the menu please :) we can work the Steak in alil later 🤭 Y'all be kind to one another!

The location on Rittiman has excellent service! The employees are very respectful and courteous. And (of course) the food is delicious! Also, the app has great rewards!
