Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported rude and unhelpful staff, with several instances of poor service and long wait times.

Rude customer service, wrong order, and so much attitude plus charged me extra and still did not give me the right order and the manager did not care at all or whatsoever. The employee name is Gabe and refuse to even apologize for their action. Worse experience ever from this fast food chain.
Come one whataburger, we do better then this in Texas

No STARS for me. The girl at the drive through was very rude no hello no thank you, no you're welcome. Told her hello right away just the price of the food close the door that was it then said again oh it's 11 something I told her no I already gave you the payment close the door. The window door didn't say nothing no sorry. Nothing then told me to pull up pull up and she goes here. Is your food no thank you. No nothing. I told her thank you no, you're welcome. Nothing very very rude. You all need to do better train on customer service on these cash registers and this cash register girl was Alexis G. If she doesn't like her job, then she should go work somewhere else. She needs better customer service skills.

I never got my food when I placed a DoorDash order. 3 drivers cancelled and a 4th was taking too long to find. Normally I'd blame DoorDash, but this Whataburger has always been slow with all of their orders. If it was up to me I wouldn't have picked this Whataburger to order from.
