Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When it's super busy, obviously it takes a little longer but the MANAGER keeps their eyes on everyone and if they notice you're waiting a little too long, they take initiative to check and ensure you get it asap!

- JRJ RDec 10, 20251.0Me and my brother came here around 2am while they where getting their truck and we asked if they can drop our food fresh & we waited almost 10-15 minutes when we finished eating our food that was “dropped fresh” my brother got a stomach virus / flu / headache also I had a headache all day the next day and today as well , someone needs to call the health inspector/ investigate what the cooks are doing to the food , if they’re following health code guidelines/ not washing their hands , DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION, unless you want a stomach virus / headache/ flu I know the cooks are getting paid good for them to spit in our food / throw our food on the floor whatever it is they did
