Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Big mistake! The guy in front of me had already been there when I drove up and was still there a good 5-8 minutes before his order was taken, I sat there a good same amount of time myself. In the meantime the vehicles in lane one kept going by, the lane 2 line did not move at all! I arrived at the line at 11:10 and at 11:37 I still did not have my food! I had to leave with no food, I had to get back to work. I will not be returning to that location even though it's very close to my workplace.

- MDMark DominguezDec 21, 20251.0Dezavala and ih 10 THE slowest drive thru ever only 2 cars ahead me and my 2 taco order took at least 30 min when I told the kid at the window after I had been there an additional 10min how this was the slowest whataburger he said " well just don't come here " I told the manager and he said oh ok like come on whataburger get right train your people. Never going there again.
