Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I have yet to have a bad experience at this location. The food is always fresh and we'll made. They are generally pretty consistent on their Serving speed

Please address how your staff treats customers. The woman who took my order barely acknowledged me, and I couldn’t help but feel that her behavior toward me might have been racially motivated. The difference in her demeanor was extremely noticeable, she was dismissive with me, yet warm and friendly with the customer after me. That customer was actually about to pay for an item, and the employee in the picture gave it to her for free with a big smile.
No customer should ever feel singled out or treated differently because of their race. We all deserve to be treated with respect, and we’re all paying the same money. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

Probably the only time I’ve ever gotten fresh, hot fries from a Whataburger in San Antonio.
I specifically asked for grilled onions on my sandwich, and of course when I got home… it had mayo, lettuce, and tomato too 🙃🙃🙃
It would really help if order takers repeated the order back before taking payment. Service itself wasn’t bad, but at the very least they should confirm the order and label which drink is which, had to taste both just to figure out what we were drinking.
Scraped the mayo off and kept it moving, but still… 👎🏽

SIMPLE ORDER (drive thru) : Large fries with spicy ketchup. I got COLD fries and just salt. I live nearby, not worth the drive back. It was closed for awhile, seems like management went down the drain. CHECK your orders before you leave.

Prior to Covid, I cannot remember the last time I ate inside of a Whataburger. Today I came into the Bandera/1604 location and was assisted at the register by Julio, the manager. He was very polite, speedy in placing our order, and answered our questions about the seasonal reusable cups, which we ended up purchasing. As we were waiting for our food, Justin came to our table to deliver our meals. He was very nice and made sure we had any condiments that we needed before he left. As we were eating, Justin came by again to offer us more napkins and asked how our food was. Overall it was a very great experience and a nice welcome to an in-person dining experience that seems to rarity in a post-Covid world. This location is doing it right!! Keep it up!!
