Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported slow service, especially in the drive-thru, with wait times often exceeding 20 minutes.

Ordered at 10:29 got my food at 10:43 while people who came in 5 or more minutes after me got theirs. Even someone who was right behind me got theirs about a minute sooner.

I went thru drive through on my lunch break. When I got back to work my order was wrong. I called and a woman was nice about replacing it next visit. So 2 days later on my lunch break I went to replace my order. That manager at the time told me they didn't have a manager by the name I gave her and continued to lecture me about making sure to call the right store if there is an issue with my order. She replaced my order this time but again I had to go through a lecture to make sure I'm calling the correct store. That was unprofessional to me coming from a "manager ".

We brought a group of 16 teens and 3 adults here after dancing at Floore's. You could see the front counter folks temporarily hesitate as we made our way inside. They were all cheerful and quick to fill our orders. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The manager, Evan Chapa, also jumped on a cash register and helped get our orders taken. He was calm, polite, and professional. After we were served our food he checked on us and made sure we had enough condiments. He also gave us his card and said if we ever wanted to stop in again, we could call ahead of time and give them a heads up to help expedite orders for next time.
The last time I went to a Whataburger was 6 months ago in Port Aransas and it was less than pleasant. This experience redeemer Whataburger for me and we may have to make a trip to this location because the service was that good!

I rarely dine in at this location but this evening my parents and I came here. A female manager last name Morales came to take our order and was not very pleasant. My dad was paying cash and she had to go to the back to get a till. When she came back she slammed the till on the counter before placing it in the drawer. Most managers I've interacted with at Whataburgers are always warm and welcoming. We all have bad days at work but when you are the manager you need to lead by example.
