Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I wanted to try the Buffalo ranch sandwitch that just came out. So I ordered the sandwitch withe fries and I wanted a sweet treat (no drink). There was some disconnect with the employee. I had to space out what I was saying. I d o n' t w a n t a s h a k e.. etc. So, what do I get?! The saltiest fries ever! I also requested ketchup, but you know, they never remember; at least at this location. At least they remembered my dessert! Little wins. I will not come back to this location. I have better luck at the dezavala location. Smarter workers and better customer service.

    Ordered through uber eats and my burger was fine but i ordered a medium and my fries were barley even half way and my sauces i was charged were not given to me. I tried to call the store twice and no one picked up.

    In the heart of the working-class neighborhoods; The ppl that keep San Antonio moving, is this great Whataburger. Consistent, friendly, and never fails to remind me how dedicated one is to the roles and duties to represent the brand. Syrus, manager, did just that. Traveling around the globe, mich star restaurant, fine dining… etc. yet the late night drive thru’s hit diffrent when daily life has you cornered…. a friendly, easy going, consistent sounding manager covering a shift on a Monday night reminds you things are worth fighting for. Totally doing my late night catering order for my wedding from Whataburger thanks to you partner. And nothing against the youngsters, but I wish Whataburger had better representation at the helm, would gladly pay more for my food if that means more syrus’s would be around. Just saying, thanks a Mil for the breakfast burger. 🍻

    Although the food can be good, the service has almost always been horrible at this location. Do not waste time going here as they will make you wait extensive periods of time. Basically every time I visit they take a very long amount of time!! What ever happened to “fast food”. Today I was told it would take 20-25 minutes at minimum due to staffing issues. When I told them I would take my business elsewhere the response was alright go ahead! They also said this was the first time in a while since there had been delays. Has anyone else had the same experience, please share! Maybe Whataburger should take some tips from chick fil an and have people take your order from a tablet, or maybe even consider McDonald’s idea multiple lanes to order from. Here’s another idea do not be understaffed at a busy location!! If employees don’t stick around, and customers are unhappy, then maybe management is the issue? Whataburger just lost a customer, thank you for this experience!
