It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I pulled up through the drive through and voice comes over the intercom what can I get you? I began to state what I want then voice immediately says hello I said yes ma’am can I get the number 21 w/bacon & sausage and double cheese and ma….voice speaks over me saying yes no cheese and drink I said no ma’am I want mayo on my breakfast on the bun and double cheese voice ok ok drink? I said ma’am can I speak voice said sure drink I said coke and can you make my meal large voice said ok name I said can I get a medium onion ring but I still want … voice said yes with the hash browns ok name for order? I pull up to the window and it’s two ppl in the window one who’s my favorite person whom I see every night/morning I stop through Ms.Angel always pleasant and joyful, I asked her to tell the manager her co worker is rude and has no customer service her face looks shocked and says that is the manager!!! I was too lost for words, she tells me to pull all the way to the cone and my order comes out and it was all WRONG!!! French fries,instead of onion rings and breakfast on a bun was dry no mayo NO CHEESE….Needless to say Ms. Monica you need to take leadership and customer service classes that wasn’t it tonight!!!! Ms. Angel PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE A FABULOUS PERSON & employee!!!!!!!!!!!

If you’re there in the morning, the breakfast options (like biscuits and honey butter chicken) are a fun twist — rich, comforting, and very filling. And they even have special promotions around these items

The drive-through only takes 5 minutes to actually pay, but there are usually 5 people in front of me. I've come here 15 times at this point? They haven't butchered my food at all, but the fries can be a hit or miss depending on the time. I only come at midnight or early morning when nothing's going on, so maybe they're worse mid-day? The lady working nights is great though, she's kind and asks if I want anything else. A lot of other places in this area will just ask me, "is that all?" So, I appreciate the clarity. Anyway, 5-stars from me for the night shift team. :)
