Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers reported a mix of excellent and poor service experiences, with some praising friendly staff while others noted slow service and incorrect orders.
Food Quality
Feedback on food quality was varied; while many enjoyed the taste and freshness, others complained about cold or poorly prepared items.
Cleanliness
Several reviews highlighted the cleanliness of the location, with customers appreciating well-maintained dining areas and restrooms.
Wait Times
Many customers expressed frustration with long wait times, particularly in the drive-thru, even during off-peak hours.

Not sure what is going on but use the tortillas you usually use or don’t use them at all. These were horrible.

I waited 20min for 2 breakfast sandwiches. The worst part was the absolutely disgusting overwhelming smell of urine in the restrooms. It was so bad I had to leave, it's gotta be a health issue and makes me question even eating here.

I order salads 4 times a month sometimes more and they barely have lettuce. You can see the bottom of the bowl sometimes and it’s not even touching the lid it’s so low. It’s literally $23.00 for 2 salads and they should come with two dressings instead of 1 because they are so small
