Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Absolute TERRIBLE experience and customer service at this Whataburger location. AVOID this location at all costs. Went through the drive-thru, ordered and paid. The employee female very young with blonde hair says to pull up and they they’ll bring my order out to me. I waited and waited and waited and no order. 22 minutes later still no order was delivered to me. I had to park, leave my vehicle, go inside and ask for my order again. The young guy says to me can I help you. I told him what was going on and he says “oh I just got here” I asked for the manager he said he was the manager (red hair and a red mustache). I yet again explained and kept asking where’s my order. It’s now 30 minutes and no order. He just looks at me with a complete blank stare. No apology, no sense of urgency just a blank stare. Zero customer service. His name is Dante and tells me his supervisor is out of town. I finally received my food and still it was incorrect and my beverage was missing. And still no apology. That was my first and last time going there!

This is the 2nd location of Whataburger I have visited with disappointment. My burger was supposed to have everything on it and it was missing onions, the tomato looked like the not fully ripe end of the tomato, the best had no flavor whatsoever.
I hope whomever up north that bought out Whataburger a few years ago is mot cutting corners and changing our beloved Texas Whataburgers.
