  Very loud. We were in between 2 swing kitchen doors people coming in and out non stop. We could hardly carry on a conversation. The food was more expensive than 281 saltgrass location which is our normal go to place. As much as they charge the real estate next to kitchen doors shouldn't have tables by them. Won't go back to that location.

  Server great food was fine but I ordered a 10oz and they served me something that looked like a 6oz. Manager took care of it (deducted difference on bill) by I cannot give high ratings on food for these type errors. Server was great. Gets the 5. Error was kitchen. had a 10 minute wait at table before server came and asked me if no-one had helped me yet. She took care of me. Bread was awesome.

  Angela and Henry were working the bar the night I was there. They did an exceptional job of taking care of me. They have a great Happy Hour nd I always come for that and my steak. This restaurant is my first stop when I get checked into my room and head to the River Walk. I highly recommend them and please ask for Angela or Henry, they will take very good care of you!

  Omg. My husband and I went out for a late dinner and had the worst experience from beginning to end. Ugh! To be fair we usually dine here with no real issues but this time was so bad I had to share. Dirty, unsanitary. No toilet tissue in the ladies room. Imagine that. Just terrible. Food was inedible. Had to send it back. Waitress brought it out again but without the streak! Lol. Have to laugh. We looked at each other confused then she said "oh, it's missing the steak". Duh! I'm going to have to find another place to dine on the riverwalk.

  In San Antonio on a beautiful sunny fall day. We are returning to the River Walk after an absence of around five years and it was delightful to see all the work that has been carried out on the River Walk to make it easier to walk without maneuvering around restaurant tables. Saltgrass is an excellent example of this table placement. They have a separate outside balcony set back and slightly higher than the river walk (as well as a large indoor dining area). We sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather and the beautiful view. The table was large and comfortable and quiet enough that we could have a conversation. Jullian was our server, he was efficient and personable throughout our meal. We started with a large plate of Fried Mushrooms for an appetizer There was more than enough for us both, and I had a Shiner Holiday draft beer to wash them down. Then we both ate Center Cut Filet with loaded baked potatoes and I drank a reasonably priced 9 oz glass of the house Cabernet. It was an excellent lunch, cost before tip was $126. The restaurant location was perfect for our afternoon walk along the river walk.
