  We had reservations for 8:30 was seated around 9:05. Finally received our food 10:05. Our waitress , April, was wonderful. She kept checking on us. Apologizing for the lengthy wait. She personally gifted us a piece of cheesecake. The acoustics were poor. It was very loud. There were a couple of groups who were having a great time, but very loud.

  Great choice for steaks! L Saturday and Sunday they have prime rib, and it was perfect. Salads were nice and fresh with homemade dressing (they pride themselves on cooking everything from scratch). The service was great! Their mocktails were really nice, especially the berry one. Their 3 layer chocolate cake was very rich and more than enough even when split for two. Prices were not inexpensive but reasonable, especially for their lovely location right on the Riverwalk, with tables on the balcony overlooking a beautiful view. My only complaint is that they were a bit sloppy plating, spilling sauces and juices on the edge of the plates. I highly recommend Saltgrass if you are looking for a reasonably priced steak on the iconic riverwalk.

  Went to saltgrass on riverwalk. Waited about an hour and a half which was expected as it was valentine’s day. I order the steak and rib combo, which wasn’t bad except I asked for my steak done medium well and it was still red inside. Ultimately the restaurant has given me food poisoning and will ruin a day of vacation. For a nice restaurant and the amount we pay I expect quality food that doesn’t make you sick. I was very excited to visit this restaurant so extremely disappointed. EDIT: I received the reply on google reviews over a week ago to send them an email as they seemed “concerned” about the incident. I have yet to receive any type of reply from them after sending an email with all the details right away. Very careful when eating here!

  We had a great visit with our server Daniel. He took great care of our table of 3. Drinks were always full, courses didn’t run together and he always cleared the dirty plates. He was very friendly but not overly intrusive. The steak was one of the best ones we have had on our many trips to Saltgrass. The cheese fries were cooked to perfection and the flavor of the burger was amazing! Can’t forget to mention to try the bacon steak. Larz was an amazing help tonight so we wanted to be sure to give him a shoutout! A ramekin of gravy fell and got on my wife’s pants and shoe and before she could ask for anything Larz was cleaning up the floor and provided a warm wet towel and dry napkins for her to clean up. That attention to detail was very impressive and much appreciated. Noemi the manager on duty stopped by and checked in a few times during the night as well. She has a shining personality and Saltgrass is lucky to have her on their team. We are looking forward to our next visit!

  On February 7th of 2026, I, Jesus Guzman, proposed to my lovely girlfriend Jayce Guerra. Saltgrass Steakhouse absolutely served us immensely in every which way. From the chaos to the beautiful moment, the staff never failed to accommodate us. If you want an experience in the river walk to remember, this location is all you need. Management is very professional here and employees are well paced and manner all around. I will never forget my experience because of this location. Definitely a must when visiting the river walk.120% recommend!
