  My husband and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary here yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared the oyster bar trash, so yummy. I had the redfish with the Melissa topping and my husband had the sword fish with Crescent City topping. Both dishes were so full of flavor and fresh. I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque to go and I absolutely loved it. We had a window table with a great view of the Riverwalk. We will definitely be returning

  All around had a bad time. Waited for ~1 hr to be seated. Waited another 45 min and didn’t get a single bite of food. Ultimately bailed to our hotel for room service. I understand the excuse will be riverwalk traffic, but my 1 hr plus observation while waiting didn’t support this. Not only am I out on Landry’s, I’ll try my best to not make a family trip to San Antonio. What a tourist trap of a place and a total waste of time and money.

  Overall it is 5 stars. I had oysters on the half shell, and broiled platter. The garlic bread and platter were great. Everything on the platter was perfectly seasoned and oh so great. My only critique is the oyster came out with the flat side of the shell. When they shucked them they dumped all the brine so there was no brine. The oysters were dry and served with not enough horse radish. Overall good but training on that one piece would be my suggestion,

  Our waitress Elizabeth, was wonderful and so was the manager. My friend has food allergies so the manager came to discuss them with us and make sure she would be ok. I had never been to a restaurant that cared so much. It was my birthday and I couldn’t have eaten at a better place. The food was fantastic and delicious. We had the fire roasted oysters and a Ceaser salad to start. Then we had Fried shrimp stuffed (with crabmeat) and sirloin with mashed potatoes, and chicken sausage gumbo. It was all seasoned to perfection. Ended my meal with a bday sundae. Everything was perfect. When you are in San Antonio at the River Walk you must go to Landry’s Seafood. They will not disappoint. Thank you for being so nice & attentive.

  We were in San Antonio for a few day's escape from the cold northern weather. We were reviewing restaurant choices on the Riverwalk and Nate invited us to come in and check out the Landry's Seafood House. We were impressed and like what we saw. It turns out that Nate is the General Manager of the restaurant and he is an outstanding ambassador for the Landry's brand. Our server was Altrice, who was very attentive to our needs without being overly intrusive. We enjoyed it so much that we dined there several additional times during our vacation!
