My cashier, I believe her name is Madelaine T. (from my receipt) was very rude, disrespectful and dismissive. I accidentally grabbed a tub of margarine that was busted open, she asked “do you want a different one??” In a very rude manner at that. Why would I purchase an opened container? I wanted to do two forms of payment as well so sue me and I guess she has another issue now. I went to go exchange my container while my husband continued with the payment (tap) and just my luck the pin was not working and neither was the bypass option. My husband then asked her if she would like to continue ringing up the next customer and she looked at him rudely and just looked away. I come back and try the payment again and I ask her if I am able to bypass again and she looks at me with an ugly face and says “whatever it says to do on there” while looking at the payment screen. If she is not able to control her emotions or whatever she has going on she doesn’t need to be interacting with people who are simply trying to grocery shop. Upsetting experience but 3 stars bc I love my H-E-B just not her 😃.
