I love my HEB. Used to be 5 stars but getting rid of the bakery was a huge mistake. And the pharmacy hours changing was as well. It’s worked for us for years, as of recently we find ourselves at the Heb on basse or the one on olmos. Would love if they’d bring back the fresh bakes.

This H-E-B is incredibly small. The selection is scarce or perhaps the time that I went in that majority of the shelves were empty so I’m assuming this H-E-B does not get much love from corporate. There’s some guy begging for money when I first entered. I’m not judging we all have to survive. And it does close earlier compared to other H-E-B‘s, so there must be a reason for that. I would say this place has just a general basics so if you need that when you’re nearby run and grab it and go but ask for the selection it is very subpar compared to most.

They discriminated against my sister who has a bad back & balance issues by claiming she was high on drugs. They kicked her out of the store even after she explained her health issues to them (which they're NOT entitled to know). I understand if you've got trouble makers doing things in the store but all she was doing was shopping, minding her own business & she got kicked out just based on the way she looks! They're lucky I wasn't there or else I'd have raised hell. Only positive thing she had to say is the security was at least nice to her but I think the staff told the security to get her out.
