Always approachable, if you can't find someting, they are always happy to look up, see if it's in stock, and may be able to tell you when whatever the item is, when it will most likely be in stock, and available again. On occasion, I have been able to request they order an item for me, think it depends on the item, what it is, did this some time ago, but HEB has so many different brands to choose from, so many made available, they may be able to tell you of a good substitute for the item you want, they're very, very good about that. The automated check outs are great, so many people use them,. but I still like the in-person cashiers, and there are always enough for people who still appreciate that. I've been here long enough to remember Piggly Wiggly! :) and when they closed,. HEB has become a staple for everything I've needed. They filled the vaccum long before Walmart came along,..and even after, still. When I discover I'm out of something, spice, coffee, milk, eggs, air freshener, or something as simple as nail clippers, emery board, or flashlights, earbuds, items for your car, HEB really serves the communities they reside in, for every day living needs. There has never been a time when I go to HEB, where the parking lot isn't full, and even if you go early in the morning, when the parking lot is kinda empty, stay a minute, and you'll see it soon fill up, people on they're way to work, getting off work to pick something up, so many do that. A community store, for the community. So glad HEB is here.
