HEB at Loop 1604 and Hwy 281 You might think that racism only goes from one group to another but not... Experiencing many times of other colored baggers walking away when a customer is of same color or Hispanic, laughing between them for what they think is funny, discriminating others by neglecting to place items in bags ....and sometimes seemed as their "supervisors" are aware or complicit with this action of targeting some customers and walking away from the products belt as a form of discriminating.

Walked in one day and I saw a lady passed out on the floor. Who helped her? Carly. She is an employee. BAM !! Sprang into action. Her chestnut colored curls flowing in the wind as she heroically assisted. I felt like I was watching a Marvel superhero movie. Whether she is zipping around the store in her trademark Hokas or helping customers that are passed out on the floor, Carly is on it. Ask her a question and if she doesn’t know the answer she’ll go find it. She’ll do it quickly, or at least you’ll think she’ll do it quickly, you really can’t tell because the moment she locks eyes with you BOOM time freezes! You can’t move…you’re caught in her HEB spell. Next thing you know she’s answering your question and you’re just standing there drooling. Carly is awesome.

Food poisoning from the sliced Buffalo chicken at the deli. Called to let them know to dispose of it and they said it was probably something else.

Love a good HEB. I was born and raised in San Antonio and have lived in many places and HEB still ranks among the top grocery stores I have shopped at. They have a great selection of produce; quality meats, cheeses, fish and baked goods; as well as great brand named items. They also offer very competitive prices. I also love how easy and convenient the curbside option is. Combine this with how philanthropic the family is and I don’t shop anywhere else.
