I like it because it's smaller and involves less walking when I stop on my way home from a 12 hour work night. It always has my salads , pastas, and slices of cake in the deli/ bakery area that are perfect for lunch. The only reason I rated 4 out of 5 is because I have to go to Austin Hwy location for several plant based meat products i can't find at this location.

Went into HEB to their customer service counter to try to return a Sara Lee Frozen Cheesecake which was not sealed that I purchased from the HEB way over on NW Military Hwy. Needless to say, I was over in that area and didn't want to travel clear across town BY BUS, with a thawed out frozen cheesecake that was opened and not sealed correctly. Per Unit Director Keith C., who Angelica asked me not to mention his name online, said he has given us strict directions not to accept returns from other HEBs for products our store doesn't carry. That is deceptive and misleading. HEB needs to be put a sign up at the desk stating that returns can be for products only carried at this store if that's the case. I'm going to try returning it to another HEB store closeby and if they refuse the return, then I will be calling my bank and requesting a charge back. This was over a measly $4.82. While HEB gives free meals away for "The Feast of Sharing" and acts like they are FEMA, HEB is still a monopoly in many parts of Texas and the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION needs to start taking enforcement action. Consumers lose when monopolies are allowed to flourish.
