Every time I come here around the holidays I’m reminded why I avoid this location I got screamed at as soon as I walked through the door with those employees with the microphone!!! Very annoying and heinous I mean when will people learn that’s not a way to advertise to customers it actually makes me avoid that entire area!!! There was also tons of customers with nasty dogs in their carts I didn’t think that was allowed at grocery stores considering we put our food in those! My niece is highly allergic to dog dander and it really made me think twice about shopping here I never see this activity at other HEBs I’ve gone to

I ordered a Heavenly Dream cake from the HEB on Wurzbach & I-10 for a pick of date and time of 4pm Saturday, January 24th. My brother was supposed to pick it up but due to the bad weather I had instructed him to call and cancel it the day before. Needless to say, I found out he hadn't when an employee called me Sunday wanting to know if we still wanted the cake. She left a message saying to call back to let them know so they can figure out what they were going to do with it. I called back and spoke to a different employee explaining that my brother was supposed to have canceled the order and apologized. I asked if I could rebook the same type of cake for the next Saturday, January 31st. She said sure no problem. My brother, not knowing exactly what the cake whould have looked like, picked up the cake. All he knew was it had fruit on it. He drives from HEB to our dinner spot, Mamacitas, which is a few blocks away. Not even a mile across the freeway. As he's driving, he happens to glance over at the cake and the top layer has literally split into pieces and is falling off the bottom. When I saw the cake it didnt look anything like it was supposed to. The top was literally in pieces and apart from the bottom. We just picked up a piece stuck a candle in it and gave it to my mom. There was no Happy Birthday message, which is usually a ribbon with the icing writing. There were no almonds and very little fruit. When I took a piece that was only the bottom layer it was old and almost hard. I honestly believe this was the same cake from the saturday before. Im so disappointed and will never order from this location again. Edited to add I do not know how to add pics, but I do have pics of what I ordered vs what I got.
