Ordering anything from the bakery is such an inconvenience. The employees are just there to get paid and seems like they have a distaste for customers. No, I will not call any number posted under this post, I shouldn’t have to, get your store together.

I’d like to share my appreciation for Mr. Dwayne, the new manager at H-E-B. Every time I come into the store, he’s always incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. He goes out of his way to check in and see how we’re doing, whether I’m there with my family or by myself. Today, I came in absolutely exhausted, running on little to no sleep and with a million things on my mind. Mr. Dwayne immediately recognized me and mentioned he hadn’t seen me in a while, since I’ve been using curbside lately with how busy things have been. He took a moment for some light chat, asked how I was doing, and quickly helped me get everything I needed so I could be in and out. He even joked about remembering my name next time, and when I said, “Thank you, I’ll feel special,” he responded with, “You’re already special, Sofia. Happy holidays.” It’s those small moments of kindness that really stand out, you never know when someone needs to hear something nice.
You can genuinely feel a positive shift in the store’s atmosphere, and I believe it’s thanks to Mr. Dwayne’s attitude, care, and the way he leads.

I love this heb. But when it comes to CURBSIDE. TWICE they've failed me. I keep missing items and it's a drive back home as well. For now on I will be getting out and check my items before leaving because it seems to be a continuous thing as I've seen previous reviews. I can't believe it hasn't been fixed. Or a concern. I shouldn't have to get out and check all my items are in my car. But for now on, I will check.... highly disappointed in curbside.... and I always leave a message thank you for picking my order and hoping they have better days.... please yall address this ISSUE.

The store itself has issues with meat going bad quickly. I’ve noticed specifically from this store our meat goes bad so fast. I thought it was my fridge temperature at first but only meat from this location does it and based on these other reviews I’m not the only one experiencing this. Otherwise the store is fine at best but if you have a busy schedule and plan on using curbside do it elsewhere. We moved here from Leon Springs and the curbside experience has been nothing short of horrible since changing to this HEB. There are not nearly enough spaces so the wait is extremely long sometimes being over an hour if you include the time you have to wait in a line of 30 cars. Every single time we order there is something wrong whether it be several items completely missing from the order, things thrown in the same bag or on top of others such as milk on top of bread, or laziness by the employees not wanting to substitute items that are out of stock. The last time we ordered they said they were “out of stock” on basic items such as apples and oranges. No attempt to substitute for a different type of apple and furthermore when we went inside to do so ourselves wouldn’t you know it there’s plenty of honeycrisp apples in the tray yet they told us they were out of stock. Today they told us that they were out of ground beef… at HEB. So I have to go out of my way and call while at work and ask why they couldn’t substitute for a similar weight/% beef. Turns out they weren’t out of stock again. I’m assuming the employee just didn’t feel like grabbing it so they just removed it from the order. I’ve noticed it’s always items that are in corners of the store where they have to walk to get them. We never had a single issue at the other location. If you plan on using curbside to make your life easier think again because you’re going to wait in line forever just to make it home and realize you’re missing several items and have to go back, or they’re just going to mark things as out of stock so they don’t have to deal with substitutes and walking too far. I would recommend placing your curbside order at a location close to your work or the one further down the road.
Edit: To make it even worse, when my wife showed up to pick up the order today the ground beef was STILL missing and they did not re add it to the order like I had called and asked for (and was told they were going to) So she had to wait even longer for them to go grab something they were supposed to in the first place.

The store itself is fine. Curbside is awful and needs some improvements. The 15-20 minute wait with only a few cars parked under the pavilion seems excessive. The method they have to gather your groceries is very strange. It leaves such a large margin for error to occur. Which is why I am writing this review. I have had, on a few occasions now, items in excessive of 7 or more completely missing from my past couple of orders. I’ve also had other peoples groceries mixed in with mine. Their only solution is to refund or come pick up. When it’s been repeated offenses, I have requested my missing items to be delivered, in which, they will not. Also, I keep getting perishables dated the same day of pickup. Ok… placing everyone’s groceries on numbered shelves and then hand picking them for 20 minutes doesn’t make much sense. I’m not sure who decided that was the best course, but perhaps they can take it back to the drawing board and try again with a more efficient method.
