Today I went to HEB @ Thousand Oaks & Perrin Beitel looking for a turkey. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the size I wanted. I asked an employee by the name of Frank, from the meat market, for help. He was more than eager to assist. He told me to check back with him in 40 minutes as they were going to unload a trailer. Less than 10 minutes later he found me and had the perfect turkey in hand. I’d like to offer a huge thanks to him. No store does more!

Good store but doesn't carry some of the more specialty items. Have to go to a bigger one for those. Duck for example. But if you just want necessaries it's great.

Overall OK for being in the neighborhood. Management should really count what's in a cart or basket before sending people to another line and not assume that the customers bags are an item they're purchasing

This HEB is not the largest one in the area, but it is the closest one to my house and generally has most of my HEB favorites. It's only about 10 minutes from my closest local Walmart so it's also convenient in that respect. If there are some HEB items that are not in stock there I may have to go to a larger HEB but generally I can find most of what I need there. I usually get in and out pretty quick using the self checkout areas so I don't get stuck in any long lines. Over all a nice neighborhood store.

This HEB is much smaller in size compared to the one I usually frequent (Bandera/1604), but it was nice. It still had a good selection, it was clean and well maintained, and the staff werre very friendly.
