We love us some HEB, moved out of Texas for about a year and man, it stunked without the HEB. Grissom location doing some remodeling and it’s crowded at times. Especially this time of year with all the holiday crud! They should put that stuff in the back area somewhere.

This heb had the best pink sprinkled donuts that they used to always have in the bakery and I used to always get one everytime I went grocery shopping at this location but they stopped selling them for some reason and I crave and think about them all the time and I wish they would bring them back they only have boring chocolate glazed donuts now and it’s just not the same they need sprinkles

I usually have a good experience at H-E-B, but today something uncomfortable happened inside the store. I was in the middle section when an older man’s basket was so close to me that I could barely walk through. I said “excuse me,” and he rudely replied, “no excuse you ,” which didn’t make any sense. It felt weird and unnecessary. I also noticed that the strawberries looked bad and hadn’t been restocked. I hope the store pays more attention to both customer space and produce quality so everyone can have a better experience. Honestly, this location needs improvement — the overall experience today really sucked.

H-E-B continues to set the standard for what a grocery store should be. Their house brands are consistently top-notch — from H-E-B Organics to Hill Country Fare and Central Market — offering high quality at great prices. You can tell they take pride in what they put their name on, whether it’s coffee, bakery items, or ready-to-cook meals. My wife’s favorite features is the sushi counter. The sushi is fresh, beautifully prepared, and made right in front of you. The selection rivals what you’d find in a dedicated sushi restaurant, and it’s perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dinner option. Between the excellent house brands, fresh sushi, and friendly staff, H-E-B makes grocery shopping something to actually look forward to.

This HEB grocery store is located on Culebra street just east of 1604. It's a mega store. It's huge. It has 'everything'. It has lots of store item choices, a pharmacy, a bakery, a to-go hot food area, and outside plants area. It's a very clean and well-lighted store. It has nice spacious shopping area aisles. While it is a large business, it doesn't feel crowded at all. Outside, there's a large parking area with plenty of convenient parking. Being close to the 1604 and Culebra street intersection, it was very convenient to leave, and get onto the freeway to avoid city street traffic on the west side of San Antonio.
