Gloria’s® Latin Cuisine is an authentic Salvadoran and Tex-Mex restaurant founded in Dallas, Texas in 1986 by Gloria and Jose Fuentes. For 40 years, the Fuentes family has been sharing the flavors they were raised on, from their abuela’s kitchen in El Salvador to your table in Texas. What began as a small family restaurant has grown into a beloved Texas institution, now with 23 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. At Gloria’s, every dish carries a story of tradition, love and the taste of home. To not make difficult we just said we'll work with it just to make sure everyone eats together instead of waiting for another plate. Come bill time server says I have to charge plate because you kept it. Okay ???? She brought her Manager on her own and she tried to explain and I said that's fine I'll just pay for it. She said same thing you kept plate but acknowledged they got order wrong and that it was the kitchen that got order wrong. I'll just leave it there....hope I explained in enough detail. They offered a $9 discount however I said just charge me full price as I'm not having a $9 acceptance of fault.

The food is good, but not my ideal. This simply means I have taste preference, but I understand their style and taste is also cultural and is amazing to those who enjoy it. I don't dislike it. I like it, but it's not familiar to my taste buds. I'm not a fan of the beans and how it's prepared but the steak here is good. Give it a try.
