There where more workers than actual people in the store they way they stand out and watch you shop is uncomfortable as hell new to the area and most definitely won’t be back the workers where very snobby and rude to my autistic child when I asked a question I got a smart mouth answer it was just a very snobby rude place and not kind friendly especially a kid with special needs

I found everything I was looking for and several items I didn't know I needed until I happened upon them. I only have 4 stars because I miss having access to the bakery, however I know the ongoing renovation will makeup for the downtime.

Matt in the Chefs food area was so incredibly kind, insightful, and helpful! Thank you for giving us a better idea of the delicious food available, I will definitely be coming back for more of that tarragon chicken salad!
(And I know no one needs a review for central market, it’s the best market I’ve ever been to. Just wanted to show our appreciation for some genuinely great help!)

Came to SA on a travel trip expecting to go back to their best flagship store in the city, man was disappointing as pho. Not sure why all the fake pity five star reviews are on here. This place is currently one star. It's under mass construction right now so half of the store is missing, literally. They have super unfriendly maze like aisles set up that lead to dead ends with no way out , or connect to other areas. I realize it's heavily being remodeled but you don't do this to your customer. Very annoying for shoppers and people with disabilities. Honestly, the food wasn't that great either. Was looking forward to getting something from their large chef cooked pre made meals and all the stuff was bland as hell-o ( stuffed potato, meatloaf, and meat balls). I sware the meat blend for meat balls and meat loaf tasted exactly the same. The sushi was ok and so was the pizza. It was even difficult to get some chocolate cupcakes. The beer aisle was lacking as well. Friendly staff at least. I don't plan on returning here as they lost me for a lifetime customer. You can do a lot better than this HEB. It used to be a fun place to walk thru and explore.

This store is not wheelchair chairs or disabled friendly. Every aisle is super tight, displays everywhere, add people and it's just accidents waiting to happen.
