  This location has a great staff that is always hustling and working to get things out! Love the teamwork and enthusiasm, even when they have rude customers! They always serve great portions and are quick to get out of stock items in quickly!

  Today Cava was out of lentils and Kalamata olives. On my last visit, there was sweet tea in the unsweetened tea dispenser. Service is adequate, but rarely are the employees actually cheery.

  CAVA off Broadway in San Antonio is hands down one of our favorite weekly spots. Every Monday when we come in, Nick and Jaida are there bringing great energy and top-tier service. Nick is always welcoming and efficient, and Jaida keeps things moving while making sure everything is done right. The vibes here are always on point and the food never disappoints. I always order the chicken and rice bowl with double chicken and extra veggies, and it’s consistently fresh and flavorful. Don’t skip the chocolate chip cookie either, it’s perfectly soft with firm chocolate chips that balance it out. Nick and Jaida truly make this place special.

  We are fans of Mediterranean cuisine and were interested in trying this location, which previously operated as a Zoe’s Kitchen. Upon entering, the layout felt more akin to a fast-casual concept like Chipotle. While the food was acceptable, it did not align with what we typically expect from Mediterranean fare based on experiences across various locations in the U.S. Notably, the harissa sauce was exceptionally spicy—more so than any we’ve encountered—which ultimately detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Unfortunately, the dining experience did not meet our expectations, and this is not a restaurant we would choose to revisit.

  A good friend of mine kept telling me to try cava whenever I came across one, but since we don’t have any in my hometown, I had never been. When I was in Dallas, I hesitated at first, honestly, with a name like “cava,” you don’t really know what to expect. I walked in skeptical… and man, I regret not trying it sooner. The setup is like a more elevated, Mediterranean-style Chipotle, simple, clean, and fast, but with way better flavors. Everything I ordered was incredibly good. I tried the lamb, steak, red hummus, and a Greek yogurt style sauce, and every single thing was fresh, flavorful, and honestly amazing. I’m officially a fan now. It also seems like a pretty healthy option, which makes it even better. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I see one. Must try. Absolutely deserving of a 5/5.
