It was our first time, we ask the employee how it works and recommendations but she was not enthusiastic or friendly. This second time, the food was great but the service again was terrible. The employee's were not friendly, and felt rushed at the register, the employee step aside to do the next customer bowl toppings while we were still paying and forgot our cups. But the strangest thing happened, an employee came in and started yelling at the manager there (1/4/26 5ish pm) we didn't hear since we were outside but then he started yelling while leaving. What he said was concerning, he said something about the manager doing inappropriate things. This location needs to do better. Your employees are not friendly and look like they hate the world!!
- EFEd FrankDec 23, 20254.0Overall CAVA is not a bad experience. It's a chain that offers healthy, quick service bowls and wraps. The base options are pretty good for greens and carbs like rice and the protein options are pretty good. I usually go with the chicken but I've had the lamb and the beef as well as the falafel. Topping selections are pretty generous and you usually end up paying anywhere from 11 to $15 for a bowl or wrap that doesn't include a drink. Keep in mind though that there are up charges for certain proteins you get and if you wanted to add certain things like avocado. This reminds me of basically a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. The only thing I would be careful for is lunch, rushes and even dinner rushes. You can wait quite a while to order but you can order online and they can have your food ready for you to pick up in a bag which is convenient.
