- BRBrandie RobinsonJan 3, 20261.0I typically frequent the CAVA in Houston, however while visiting San Antonio today, I had a craving. Unfortunately, I regret it. The flavor of the food just isn’t the same and is quite mid. I’m guessing they don’t have the same recipes. The customer service was unpleasant. The first employee, a gentleman, initiated the prep of my bowl. His attitude and demeanor was “sour”. I wear Invisalign and just changed my liners so my speech wasn’t the best and my mouth was sore therefore I decide to point towards most of my selections. He seemed annoyed by this, or maybe he was just annoyed, and when I struggled with words, he provided a snarky correction. Then, he proceeded to have a side convo. The young lady was a bit friendlier however, compared to the other CAVA establishments, the customer service is pretty bad…I will not return. Thanks!!

Wasn't for sure what to order since it was my first time so I went off the picture of the bowl of chicken shawarma and it was made to perfection of the picture. But this location was stingy or skimpy with the portions. If I'm going to pay $15 then I want it to look like that.

She made painfully obvious that she didnt want to serve us. I wanted to leave but decided to eat and leave my review. Normally good ,just not today. IF you get a server with tats on both arms and a nose ring, be prepared for really cold bothered service.
- JJJust JonnyDec 15, 20252.0I do have this pleasure when most of my reviews are negative. But it seems to be the world we live in today. The guy who made my food was actually a great person. It was a manager manning the register at the time she seems to have some issues of questions being asked of her. These are normal questions I believe some customers would ask at any time and they seemed like it was a bother for her to answer. I have to say if management or even staff can't tolerate simple questions, maybe retrain your staff.
