  I had such a great experience at Backyard on Broadway, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Larissa. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure we were comfortable, checked in at just the right times, and had great recommendations when we couldn’t decide what to order. What really stood out was her positive attitude and attention to detail—she didn’t miss a thing and made us feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and cares about her customers having a good experience. Larissa truly made our visit memorable, and I’ll definitely be back because of the service she provided. If you get her as your server, you’re in great hands!

  Refreshing to see a waitress that actually has personality combined with exceptional service!!! Give Alex a 1.00 more an hour raise and free Uber to and from her work at the backyard!!!!

  I had a great experience with Cody at Backyard on Broadway. The customer service really stood out—Cody was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived. It’s always nice when someone goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and that definitely happened here. One of the best parts of this place is the setup for families. The outdoor area is perfect for kids to play and burn off some energy while parents can relax and enjoy their time. It has a laid-back, backyard-style vibe that makes it easy to kick back and stay awhile. Backyard on Broadway is a great spot if you’re looking for good service, a fun atmosphere, and a place where both adults and kids can have a good time.

  This margarita festival was extremely overcrowded and poorly managed. Long lines, watered-down drinks, and vendors running out of margaritas made it frustrating from start to finish. Trying to get an extra drink at the bar was nearly impossible. Definitely not worth it.

  Was at the san antonio location. The owner dismissed the review of a woman who said she waited for 20 minutes while being ignored. Went to sit down then was told to go back and wait. The owner was quick to dismiss her claim, but I experiencesd a very similar scenario here. I waited for 10 minutes at an empty sign that said wait to be seated. No one in the building at all except the bartender. No host there to say "hello, it will be a sec," no one there to tell me how long the wait will be. Almost left twice. Wish I did. Once I was noticed, we waited another 5 mins before being seated. Once seated it was at least 10 mins before we saw our waitress. Beers and margarita were good. We ordered a Starter frito pie, then a coney style chili dog and a pulled pork melt. Now, whats the point of calling it a starter if you bring it with the rest of the food. Too much cumin in the chili. No napkins on the table. Pork sandwich was decent. Chili on the pie and the chili dog was barely edible. Took an additional 15 mins after check. Afterward we went to the pearl and got some good food.
