  This place on the Riverwalk is great. We sat right next to the walk outside and had a blast just relaxing visiting our airman. Server was great and fun to talk to. Food was good. If your been to a bubba Gump shrimp.co. you know what your getting. Fun and relaxing place to stop.

  My sister and I recently dined at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. We ordered the Cajun-style boiled shrimp and calamari. The calamari was noticeably greasy and inconsistently cooked, with some pieces overdone while others were undercooked. The boiled shrimp lacked flavor, and the Cajun sauce was very thin and watery, which made the dish even more disappointing. In addition, the service was quite poor. We visited on a Tuesday when the restaurant was not busy, yet the level of attentiveness and overall service did not reflect that. Overall, this visit was underwhelming, especially considering the location and reputation. I hope improvements can be made in both food quality and service.

  We went to the one in Kima & everything was great until we got home & discovered that we didn't get the glasses that we paid for that came with our drinks. We were given plastic shakers instead. We were supposed to get the glasses in picture 1 but was given what's in picture 2😔

  My first visit to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the food absolutely lived up to expectations—everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the price. What truly made this visit memorable, though, was our server, Daniela. She went above and beyond in every aspect of service. She was attentive without being overbearing, consistently checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu really stood out—she answered all of our questions with confidence and gave thoughtful recommendations based on what we were looking for, which ended up being spot-on. It’s rare to come across service that genuinely elevates the entire dining experience, but Daniela did exactly that. She made us feel welcomed, taken care of, and appreciated as guests. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be hoping to have Daniela as our server again. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

  We walked in and immediately saw a table being cleared, so we let the host know we were a party of six. She told us the table was reserved and that the wait would be around 30–35 minutes. The way it was communicated felt dismissive and unfriendly, like we were being brushed off. What made it worse is that shortly after, the manager stepped in, sent the host away, and seated us at that exact same table we were told was unavailable. That was really frustrating and honestly confusing. It’s disappointing because this is actually one of our favorite places to eat whenever we come to the River Walk—the food is always amazing, and it’s usually the first spot we think of when visiting San Antonio. But this interaction with the host left a bad impression and took away from what should have been a great experience. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but good service matters just as much as good food. I hope this is addressed so it doesn’t happen to others.
