Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I understand that the service industry can be demanding, but professionalism is still part of the job. On February 23rd at 2:20 in the morning, I went through the drive-thru and placed a very simple order: a #20 Bacon & Potato with grilled onions and jalapeños, a large Dr Pepper, and a sausage on a bun with no egg, add mayo. I was polite, knew exactly what I wanted, and did not create any issues. The employee working the drive-thru made rude comments about my presence because a delivery truck was there dropping off supplies for the week. He stated that “the only time this customer ever wants to come through is when there’s a truck.” For clarity — customers can absolutely hear what is being said inside the drive-thru, even when the window is closed. Even after I politely requested condiments in the bag, there were none included. I had to go inside to retrieve them myself. At that time, there were only three customers at the location — two inside and I was the only one in the drive-thru — so it was not an overwhelming rush situation. I understand that receiving deliveries while operating a drive-thru can add pressure. However, that is an operational matter and not something that should be taken out on paying customers. This location’s nighttime crew needs additional customer service training. Basic courtesy and attention to detail should not depend on how busy or inconvenient the moment may be.

Brennan for store manager!!!! I ordered my food fresh as I watched Apuza pack my order and let it sit for over 20 minutes and they had the nerve to hand me food that’s been sitting after I ordered my food fresh Brennan is running around the store like a Chicken with his head cut off because the night time manager doesn’t want to do her job. Ex employee or not I’m a customer and I wanted my food correctly when I ordered it not a half hour later

This literally the worst location and service I've ever experienced. They really need to get their crew trained to deal with basic things. I'm not one that leaves review at first bad experience, everyone has a bad day. Whether it's drive, pickup, or delivery, orders are consistently wrong or missing items. I called for a delivery order being wrong (I don't have an option to pick a location or I would've avoided this one) to let them know the order was wrong, and the lady i spoke with literally told me "that's not my problem". After voicing my frustration, she said if I fix your order you need to pick it up at 10 am tomorrow. I was like what if I was hungry tonight! I got a delivery order because I didn't want to leave the house. Her reply was if you're really hungry you need to come pick it up. So unprofessional!

Well, I had to wait 45 minutes for my food, a lady told me that she had to wait 1-2 hours in a driveway for her food, just to get it wrong my burger was cold, Dried up ketchup, fries were also cold, don’t come here unless you wanna wait for hours.
