Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Their fountain drinks are also almost always under carbonated and over syruped. Biggest positive is their employees! They’re always willing to help and are generally really on top of things. But the food inconsistency is def a negative :/.

They overcharged me for a sausage biscuit (2.89) and charged me 4.89 like what the heck! And I called them out and a manager had to come and he was zero help and personality and said oh well that’s how we charge and I said well that’s wrong and your overcharging people! So check your recipes!!!!! Then they got the burger wrong which wasn’t hard! I said cheese and pickles like come the hell on! They legit DO NOT CARE! WORST SERVIE EVER!!
- YEYihun EskiMar 20, 20261.0Where is the common sense? I tried to use a free burger reward for my daughter, but asked for a brownie instead because she doesn't eat meat. A brownie costs less than a burger, so it would have saved the store money, but the employee was completely inflexible. I ended up paying full price while my daughter was left upset. It’s a shame that a simple, logical request was met with a 'no' for no good reason especially for KIDS. What about if I didn't have my wallet with me?? Totally unfriendly !
