We came in here a few days ago Food was good unfortunately What really made things worse was the service. It was slow, and no one seemed particularly attentive or concerned about how things were going at our table. My server was named Valeria, who might be the manager, guessing by the standing around at the bar the entire time? She was around, but there didn’t seem to be much effort to address issues or check in with us.the most important part about this review is the fact that she was literally talking about horrible about people there I don’t know if she didn’t think I could hear or understand her but the things she was saying about the other people there are crazy??? Just crazy too me I’ve had great experiences with other servers and was recommending this place to everyone but after that no way. customer experience just wasn’t a priority that day. Overall, between the lackluster service, I wouldn’t rush back. There are plenty of better brunch spots in Round Rock that offer both quality and attentive service.

The establishment was lively. I utilized the waiting list prior to arrival via their website. Upon arrival, we were greeted by door people. Once checked in, we waited a total of 5 minutes before we were seated at a table. Valeria was our server. She immediately grabbed our drink order and we were given hot coffee in such cool looking mugs. Once we ordered our food, we waited a total of 8 minutes. The food was delicious, plentiful and the portions were of greater quantities than normal. The highlight of our visit was the Churro donuts. What set this dish off was the homemade caramel sauce served on the side. You can taste the butter and the slight saltiness it entails which makes this caramel taste like it's being freshly made (imagine a worther's original, but in liquid form) so good. Valeria was attentive and courteous. Their menu is laid out wonderfully with plenty of boozy options. There are screens throughout for sports programs. It's definitely a good place to enjoy a Sunday Brunch.

We left before receiving our drink order. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. I had been there one time before during there grand opening a couple months ago and was very pleased with the staff, wait and food. I was excited to take my wife there. We arrive and the two Hostesses were unearthed, one young lady would not make eye contact and the other seemed lost. They were looking for something and ignoring the two parties standing in front of them. When the one girl finally engaged there was nothing welcoming or even apologetic. Just follow me. We sat down and waited. This is a new restaurant and already looks run down. Zero care from the staff. We waited a little longer and not a single serve came.finally left with being greeted or our order taken. I hope everyone else has a great experience. I didn't and doubt I will return.rather drive down the street to some other local breakfast spots who take proper care of there guest

5 stars only for Alicia! I called last week because their website says to call in advance for large groups. Carlos laughed it off and said there’d be no problem. Didn’t take my name or number. Called again this morning at 8am to double check for our 11am brunch. Carlos again dismissed me and said there’d be no problems putting together a table for us. When we arrived 15 minutes early they had just recently sat people in the only 2 sections that a group our size would fit. Staff was scrambling and wanted to put us at 2 separate tables. Carlos sat at the bar. Alicia came over, came up with a solution, and handled the situation as a great manager should! She came back a bit later to make sure everything was good. Carlos never came by. One of the servers even brought the kids Easter eggs. Thank you Alicia and the staff who made our post Easter brunch great!

Five stars isn’t really the point. The experience is. We walked in with the Round Rock Chamber Ambassadors, a big group, most of us visiting this new The Toasted Yolk Cafe for the first time. And if you’ve ever been part of a group like that, you know how messy it can get. People switching seats, conversations happening everywhere, orders changing mid-sentence. That’s usually where things start to slip. But here’s what surprised me. Nothing slipped. Val and the team stayed steady the whole time. Orders came out right. No confusion. No stress in their faces. Just a team that clearly knew how to handle the chaos and still make it feel easy for everyone at the table. Then the food showed up, and the tone shifted. You could see it in how people reacted. Plates hit the table and conversations paused for a second. Then came the comments. “Have you tried the blueberry donuts yet?” “You need to get the cheesy hash browns next time.” And here’s the part that stuck with me. A lot of us didn’t finish our meals, not because we didn’t like the food, but because there was just that much of it. More than a few to-go boxes headed back to the office, which says a lot about both the portions and the value. While all of this was happening, the place never really slowed down. It stayed busy the entire time, even on a weekday morning. People kept coming in, tables kept turning, and the energy stayed up. That doesn’t happen by accident. That happens when a business understands what the customer actually experiences and builds around that . We came in as a group trying something new. We left already talking about coming back.
