My Fiance has been wanting to try this place so we went this afternoon. I like you that you get to order from one of two kiosks but there was also a girl working who was very friendly and helpful. We bought the Iced Biscoff Latte, a Tres Leches Crepe, a cheesesteak Crepe, a Raspberry Brie Croffle, and then 10 sea salt caramels to go (they were only .50 cents each). The food took maybe 5 minutes to come out and the coffee came shortly after. All of the food was really good but I think my personal faves was the croffle. The only negative of the entire meal was the cheesesteak meat was kinda chewy but it was still pretty delicious. We got to try a decent assortment but want to go back and try a few other things including the muffins.

All around terrible experience and won't be coming back. The crepes were smothered in chocolate syrup to a vile amount and didn't come with the fruit they were supposed to have included. The tacos we got had egg that was completely burnt on the bottom and contained mostly onions, more onion than egg, and were drenched in oil that covered the bottom of the plate. Absolutely gross. On top of that, seating was absolute chaos and we had two different servers drop off other people's food at our table twice and walk away. We had to flag them down to let them know and then they took the now cold food off our table and took it to the correct ones. Sloppy, childish crepes and burnt, over oiled food is just terrible. Add in the hilariously bad service and it's a recipe for disaster.

Heads up, when you walk in you have to go straight to the back to place your order. We sat at a table thinking someone would be by to take our order and another patron let us know. Honestly since this place is new, there should be someone guiding people as they walk in. Everything is pretty much self served. Food was super, had the crepes with dark and white chocolate. Real heavy on the sauce, couldn't really enjoy the crepe. Esthetic of the place is adorable. Prices are kind of high, paid $21 for a crepe & drink. I think after they work out the kinks and settle down after fresh opening frenzy, they can start to polish the small issues.

I recently went to The Crepe Lab with my Mahjong buddies. I hadn’t heard of it but was very excited to try it because…crepes!😋 We played Mahjong and ate some amazing crepes and salads. I ordered the turkey and Brie and was not disappointed. My friends enjoyed their orders as well, and we’re going to get a group of ladies together for a brunch day here very soon. I returned today with my husband who is normally not impressed with most restaurant fare. He ordered the cheesesteak crepe and was pleasantly surprised; he even told me he would go with me again. Lol The restaurant also offers a variety of breakfast foods, salads and sandwiches. I recommend that you give it a try…it’s located near the Barnes and Noble at La Frontera.

The Crepe Lab is unfortunately not a place I will be returning to. The overall experience was awkward and underwhelming to the point where I am trying to understand why my experience seemed so different from every other review listed. The place was definitely clean and taken care of, but it is so silent that there is an awkward aura to it all. I'm not sure why there are a few reviews talking about music when there isn't even a sound system in the restaurant. Upon entering, I was only greeted with silent stares. No hellos or good mornings at all. Ordering at the kiosk should be simple and care free, but a staff member stood there silently staring while I was deciding and placing my order. Food came out fast and is definitely Instagram worthy. Unfortunately the waffle came in difficult to cut and did not appear fresh at all. They drown their food in toppings which make up the bulk of any flavor. The sweetened cold brew I ordered was bitter, watery, and again topped with a heaping amount of whipped cream. Another gripe is that their tables are so slick that cutting anything on the plate was near impossible without placing down a napkin for some traction. Overall very disappointing and not at all what the other reviews make it out to be.
