Last night was our first time eating here, and it exceeded every expectation. Liz was our waitress, and she was absolutely amazing especially considering it was around 10pm. My sister and I had no idea what to order, and she took the time to walk us through the menu, highlight favorites, and give great recommendations. Everything we had was a 10/10 the appetizer, the ribeye we shared, and even the complimentary dessert from the manager. You can tell this place truly cares about the customer experience. We had been loyal customers at another steakhouse in Georgetown, but after several disappointing visits, we decided to try something new and were so glad we did. This is officially our new spot. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and taken care of. We’ll definitely be back!

So 1st off......we never got service at this place even after asking the Hostess twice about getting service........2nd off.......This place and everyone in it seemed super stuck up........3rd off.....even if we did get to order I'm not sure it would have been worth it.......guess I will never know.

The food was over- seasoned and extremely salty. The quality of the steak was low, it was chewy and overcooked. The broccoli had spots where you could tell it was starting to go bad, and the salad had several pieces that were very oxidized. Definitely will not be back.

Every time we go, there’s something off. One time we waited over an hour to get our food. Server asked if we wanted to talk to the manager. We said yes; waited 15 minutes, he never showed up. I tried going last week for lunch. There was barely anyone there and they said it would be a 35 minute wait cause they didn’t have enough servers. Today, Sunday, we went in early, around 11am. They were out of baked potatoes and sweet potatoes. And the table was dirty, food scraps everywhere. The hostess saw me pushing off all the dirt from the table and didn’t do anything.

This new Outback has been open for about a year and I finally got the opportunity to go check it out. I stopped on my way home from work to get carryout and parked on the side in the dedicated carryout parking spots… only to find the carryout door locked with a sign to go around front or call the restaurant. This seemed counterintuitive, but I walked all the way around the building and went I. The front door… only to find the hostess stand unattended. After standing there for a minute or two without being greeted, I walked to the bar to place my order. I sat at the bar for about 5 minutes before I was greeted by a bartender who I asked if I could place a carryout order. She told me to hold on and that she would have to get someone. She went and got another server who came to take my order…. But when I tried to order a glass of wine while I waited, the server had to get the bartender. So I paid the server for my order but had to run a separate tab and pay a separate bill to the bartender for my glass of wine…. That was not chilled properly and not good. I worked for many years in the service industry and often give the benefit of the doubt and don’t like to complain, but this was really subpar by now. My to go order came up pretty quickly and the server brought it out and assured me it had been doublechecked and since the bag was sealed, I trusted here. I paid the bartender for my $9 glass of wine that I didn’t drink (plus a $2 tip for no service) and took my order home. I drive home 20 minutes to Georgetown and open the bag and they left a $3.99 side of broccoli out of the order. In other words, the order that the server who I left a $10 tip to for carryout had assured me was doublechecked and complete, was not complete. Accidents happen, and while this is disappointing, I’m not driving back to Round Rock and back for a side of brocolli and the food that was there was pretty good. Pork Chops had good flavor but were a little tough, but I can chalk that up to getting them to go. The chicken salad my wife had was great and bread and fries were good. Here is where my experience really went down the drain though. I call the restaurant and speak with a male manager regarding my missing side item. $3.99 is $3.99 and I don’t see why I should pay for an item I did not receive. The manager seemed polite, but almost overly polite to the point of being borderline sarcastic. I provided him with the transaction information and he confirmed the credit card info and stated I would definitely get credited for anything I paid for and did not receive. I thanked him and that was the end of it. But he never credited my account and as a result, I can only interpret is overly sarcastic manner not as polite, but as condescending and completely unprofessional. I was nothing but cordial on the phone and as a guest, I do not deserve to be charged for food that Outback forgets to put in the order. I don’t care if it’s $1.99 or $3.99 or $34.99. It’s the principle that it is my money and I should not pay for something that is not provided, and a business should not charge me for a product or service that they fail to provide. As a result of the overall experience, this restaurant had horrible customer service from the locked take out entrance, to the empty hostess stand, to the less than fluid to go process, to the inattentive bartender and warm wine, to the condescending manager. I won’t be back.
