⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review – Toasted Yolk Café My experience at Toasted Yolk Café was exceptional from start to finish. Our server, Fatima, was outstanding. She had an impressive knowledge of the menu and took the time to walk us through each option before we ordered. Her explanations were clear, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful, making it easy to choose exactly what we wanted. The manager, Carlos, was equally impressive. He was friendly, welcoming, and took a moment to share more about the restaurant and what it stands for. His professionalism and warmth added an extra layer of hospitality that truly elevated our visit. Between Fatima’s attentive service and Carlos’s leadership and hospitality, Toasted Yolk Café delivered an experience that felt both personal and memorable. Highly recommended.

My family and I used to love going to the previous toasted yolk location near Austin until it closed, so we were excited to see this new location as well. Went today, service was not good. Some of the food runners just aimlessly wandered around with food and went back into the kitchen with it numerous times looking like they had no clue what they were doing. My mother ordered a drink that she did not like, and asked for a replacement, and our server comes back and tries to tell us that the bartender says my mom won’t like it because it “uses the same syrup”, basically refusing to make it until my mom literally told them she tasted the one she wanted as an alternative before and knew she liked it. The older man with an earring behind the bar literally was walking around with a large hunting KNIFE holstered on his belt? I have no idea why that would ever remotely be considered acceptable to be parading a weapon around in a restaurant, but it’s not professional or okay. Wait was also much too long and I watched plenty of food sit in the window for long periods of time before it was addressed. You can find better brunch places that will serve you faster and in a more pleasant manner. Just go to first watch.

Super disappointed. Placed an order for churro donuts, says it comes with 4 pieces and only received 2. The food server (not our assigned server) wasn’t very clear when asked if this was a half order price or not. Placed our breakfast order. Our server checked by to see if donuts were good. They were. We proceeded to sit there for a long while. Other tables sat after us received their food and finished and we still did not have our food. Our server checked by and said “You haven’t got your food?” I replied no. He said I will check on it. More minutes pass as he stands at a terminal then he goes to the back. He comes back out and says the kitchen made the food and not sure why it wasn’t delivered. He comes to the table to explain and says they have to remake it and it will be another 10 minutes. I told him we would just take the check for the donuts and tea. He very kindly said he would cover that.

New server kept disappearing. Not seem to have anyone supervising her or any management around checking on tables. We waited a long time after seated before being waited on, even considered leaving. In eyesight of person that seated us, but she didn't report to anyone that we weren't being served. Finally took our order. Food arrived and was good. Then, she disappeared again. Other servers running around, but no one in our area. No refilks offered for water, etc. We got up and got our own to- go container as could see them sitting on a stand nearby. Waited way too long for our check. Tried to get her attention when giving table next to us (that came later) her check, but she wouldn't turn around. Never gave her name, so couldn't call her by name. If inexperienced, she needed supervision or others s helping her. Not sure people work together well there or she just wasn't server material. Not sure. A manager needed to be visibly there for customers too.

I brought a group of friends here yesterday for brunch, and it was a fantastic experience overall. We went on a Saturday around noon with a large party of 10. I arrived a little after 11 to put my name on the list because I wanted us seated and eating by around 12, and that plan worked out perfectly. If you’re coming with a large group during peak brunch hours on a Saturday or Sunday, I’d definitely recommend arriving at least 30 to 40 minutes before you actually want to sit down. That made all the difference for us. Once we were seated, everything else was amazing. Our server was incredible. He was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu, especially considering how busy brunch can get. The food was absolutely top notch. I ordered the cowboy breakfast, and it was really, really good. The portion sizes here are no joke. I honestly could have shared my plate with two other people and still been full. I also tried a few bites from around the table, and everything was excellent. Someone ordered pancakes, and they were amazing. Another friend got the chicken tenders, and those were absolutely phenomenal. Everything we tried was seasoned perfectly, which really stood out. I also had the chance to meet the owners, and they were extremely kind and welcoming, which always makes a place feel even more special. The ambiance was cute and inviting, and I loved the decor on the walls. One thing that really caught my eye was the coffee mugs. If you order regular coffee, they bring it out in these really cute mugs that come in a variety of colors, and they sell them too. I will definitely be buying one on my next visit. Overall, this place checked all the boxes. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and genuinely nice people. I absolutely look forward to coming back and would highly recommend it, especially for brunch with friends.
