They have them lined up together so that the person in the back can not access or get through until the other person is done scanning and paying. There have been numerous times where the customer's behind have been trying to rush the customer's in front of them as they are scanning their groceries and it becomes horribly rude. This is just a genius idea to have these self checkouts aligned this way. I mean you for sure will not run into this problem at other supermarket's because they at least have the self checkout register's spread out to where it is easy to access and the line doesn't become long and no one is rushing the other either. This is also not handicap friendly due to there is also not enough space to move around in between checkout register's. I sure hope this problem is fixed and they take the customer's consideration and not be worried about pushing sales with overloading the front of the store with product's and actually make more accessible room at the register's for all the customer's.

An associate from the bakery department is extremely rude and condescending about a cake that I purchased from them, which had completely fallen apart when I asked if the cake was supposed to be refrigerated, she said no, but that I must have left it out in the heat. Anyway they exchanged the cake after speaking to two separate managers, but not before telling me they did not have another one and then when I walked over and pointed it out to them, she said that I would not want it because it was just going to fall apart also, it seems as if customer service is no longer a priority at Randalls in round rock Texas.
