  Absolutely unacceptable service. Teddy, the manager, turned what should have been a simple 2 minute situation into a ridiculous waste of time. My wife left her credit card at the restaurant, and because we live hours away, we sent her sister whom we visited to pick it up. She even has the same last name as the card. She had pictures of our IDs, a picture of the card, and explained every detail to the staff. Instead of helping, they had her sitting there for over 20 minutes for absolutely no reason. I finally called because I was fed up with her waiting around. Teddy told me he would not release my wife’s card because of Saltgrass policy. So let me get this straight. You have my caller ID, a picture of our IDs, a picture of the card, someone there identifying it correctly, and the she has the same last name on top of that, and somehow that still was not enough? What makes this even worse is that after all that, once I told my sister-in-law to leave, Teddy suddenly came out with the card anyway. So after wasting her time, refusing to help, and creating a problem out of nothing, he then decided to lecture her about how I was rude on the phone. He even said that giving her the credit card was risking his job. By that point, I had already ordered a replacement card, so the card was useless. This entire mess was caused by poor judgment, bad customer service, and a manager who seemed more interested in being emotional and defensive than actually helping a paying customer. Even worse, while this was happening, Teddy was rude to his own hostess staff and called them dumb. That alone tells me everything I need to know about his professionalism. Saltgrass needs to seriously address him. As a Landry’s member who has spent a lot of money across multiple locations, I have never dealt with a manager this disrespectful, emotional, and incompetent. Embarrassing service.

  We had a fantastic experience at Saltgrass Steak House. We started with an order of fried pickles that were a great start to go with their bread. I ordered the porterhouse with green beans and a house salad, and everything was tasty—great flavor and exactly what you want from a steakhouse. My wife had the steak salad and loved it, and it was a solid portion. Our kids were just as happy—two had steak bites from the kids menu and one went with a cheeseburger. All of it was fresh, well-prepared, and kid-approved. Best part? Everyone left full and satisfied. Great food, great experience—we’ll definitely be back.

  I had a fantastic meal at Saltgrass Steak House. The T-bone steak was very delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Great seasoning and a nice char on the outside. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service was solid. Definitely a spot I’ll return to for more steaks! Highly recommend!

  Husband and I decided to mix up our weekly plans and head out to dinner for a quick date night here and were quickly reminded why we just stay home and eat what's home instead. Husband ordered salmon that they literally cooked so long you had to cut it with a steak knife. Sent it back after one cut and the manager came over to let us know they were remaking it. No apologies...no complimentary anything...just we're gonna redo what should've been done to begin with. Won't be going back because clearly our dollars, business, or customer experience are not valued here.

  From the moment we were seated until the moment we left, Fred delivered exceptional service. He was courteous, attentive, and genuinely personable the entire time. When a small mishap happened at our table, he handled it with such compassion and professionalism that it truly stood out. He brought fun and positive energy to our dining experience, and it made the evening even better. The entire staff was amazing—every interaction reflected outstanding hospitality, including from the management team. The food was superb, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top‑tier. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!
