  So happy H-E-B made it to Rockwall. I am in this store every other day! I love the ready-made section. The bakery, meats, fresh veggies and fruits. I can buy specific ingredients that are not traditional there at H-E-B for Thai dishes, or Jamaican dishes, Greek dishes. So many options. It's great! So spacious and clean! Prices seem to be more reasonable than the other groceries in the area.

  This place has it all. Love the meals ready to eat section. The bakery, the deli, and the fresh meat section is superb. Some things are higher but you can tell they are fresher too but with that being said they have deals too so there really is something for everyone. The store is big but the layout is pretty open and I don't feel like it's as crowded as some stores because there is plenty of room in the aisles for everybody and you don't feel like your blocking others by stopping to browse. They even have discounts on the plants. If you've never been you should try it out. Hadn't tried the sushi out yet but planning on it.

  HEB is the greatest grocery store chain on the face of the planet. I am so happy to finally have one here in Rockwall. Try the bbq restaurant, it is very good. Also, the HEB branded product selections are equal or better than name brand options. This is why other chains close down so rapidly upon their entry into a market. HEB is supremely better.

  Store is awesome! Self checkout is terrible! Every time i have gone i have had issues one way or another. Always different. Takes forever to get out of there to fix it. Management is worse!! The register took our cash and didnt give it all back or the receipt. The manager came up with a total attitude. I had a smile on my face. I was nice. I have no clue why she was like that. She said she was gonna give us our money she owed us back from the other register. They couldn't get it open for 20 minutes! And never said im sorry for the wait or an explanation. Not a word. We gave up. Said keep it and left. Next time we r using a cashier! But I do love the store itself.

  The baggers at this location are very careless with how they bag your groceries. My husband & I shop here weekly & we bring in re-usable grocery bags but the baggers literally throw your groceries in the bag with no consideration for how they are situated i.e, they pack extremely heavy groceries on delicate groceries like bananas, avocados or bread, they frequently bag raw meat in the same bag as fresh produce, even though you separate them on the conveyor belt & line up the rest of the groceries with how you’d like them bagged. They throw boxes or packages in your bags & & leave them fallen over on their side instead of sitting them up & crush them by stacking heavy groceries on top of them. It gives you the impression that the HEB baggers have no respect or consideration for your groceries. Love everything else about what HEB offers, but it always ends with a poor experience when checking out. This has been our experience for the last (5) visits. I hope management can address this issue with the baggers.
