The new H-E-B in Rockwall is fantastic! The store is spacious and clean, and the product selection is impressive—from fresh produce and artisan bakery items to ready-to-go meals and a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru. The team here really goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful, which makes the whole shopping experience enjoyable. I also love the convenience of curbside and delivery options. Definitely worth the visit!

I became a fan of H-E-B a couple of years ago when my daughter was living in Plano. I made sure to make the hour drive every other week. I was beyond thrilled when H-E-B Rockwall opened! The customer service at this location is superior to any other grocery store I’ve been to in this area. I was impressed when two separate employees in the meat department went out of their way to have steaks cut for me when the ones on the shelf were either out or not quite what I wanted. Yesterday I had a full cart but one of the checkers literally made me go through the express lane because I was ready and she wanted to work!! Such an amazing store. Always a smile and a greeting from every employee!! My mom is from out of state and every time she visits now, she wants to go to H-E-B! She says it’s “an incredible store”!!

My fiancé and I went in here on December the 26th to get our weekly groceries which we’ve been doing since H-E-B opened. We came in around 9 PM and finish shopping after about 30 minutes we went to go check out at which there was only two lanes open and we sat and waited an additional 30 minutes to be checked out. For some reason whenever we got to the checkout, the cashier had sent the bagging lady to go put back merchandise that the customer previous to us did not want to buy, and for some reason no one came and helped their bag. The groceries at wish the cashier kept ringing up instead of bagging as she was ringing up and then had the audacity to ask us if we could bag and put our own groceries in the cart, which honestly would not have been a big deal, but we were the only guest that they asked to do that with everybody else got their stuff bagged and put in their car like normal. honestly, it’s not that big of a deal until we started to think about how we were spending $250 a week over here for such a crappy service that they can’t even bag our groceries and put them in the cart, we can easily just go to Aldi and spend $90 a week instead of 250 a week over here at H-E-B and that is exactly what we’re going to do. We won’t be bringing our business here anymore. All because you have a few bad employees who don’t know how to treat your customers.

Im a die hard HEB fan & was ecstatic when this location was to open up. After waiting for the initial large crowds to die down I happily made the trip inside the store. The store itself was great & had a nice flow, but what made the great experience come to a screeching halt was the presence of an untrained dog in the store. I am disabled & utilize a service dog to be able to function independently in my day to day and having random untrained animals roaming around non pet friendly stores is a safety hazard for me. Its disappointing a brand new store has already let multiple people get away with bringing into (acc to employees is asked) multiple untrained dogs including someone with SIX dogs, pigs, and who knows what else. Its extremely unsanitary and a direct hazard to not only my well being but other shoppers as well. It was disheartening to hear the employees in general have not been trained on how to interact with service dog Handlers in order to confirm legitimacy. Not knowing the ADA is a huge disadvantage to the store & its employees i hope that the store takes action into training their employees how to handle these situations. I have gone to businesses before and helped with training seminars /meeting to help management & employees and would be happy to do that here if invited. I really hope something is done to change this.

I didn't want to post this as a review but after waiting on hold to speak with an MIC and then asking for the Unit Director and no one answered for the 7min I was on hold. Norma was beyond rude. I let her know that my baby food was on sale for 33 cents a pouch and she said no that is the coupon price. I told her it was a blue SALE shelf tag and the coupon was for 50 cents off 5 so that didn't even make sense. She proceeded to argue with me before calling a manager over. I explained it to the manager that then rolled her eyes at me and said let me go look. The phone at the register rang and I was infact correct. The cashier then told me I couldn't use my coupon because it was on clearance. I stated to her again it was a blue SALE shelf tag (yellow coupons can be used on clearance) . Another manager came over and to do the override all while the lines were backing up. When it was all said and done Norma started rudely putting my things down the belt to be bagged and at the end made no eye contact and shoved my receipt in my direction. Here is the nicer, I was a Center Store Leader for HEB for over 10 years in Austin( I never told Norma that) and this is not HEB's culture. That is the kind of service I would expect at Walmart. I'm very disappointed in the entire situation especially not being able to speak to someone over the phone about the issue. Do better
