The store was great not the customer service. Here is why we purchased some items that were not food and didn't make it home. I called and they said yes it was left there but they put it back on the shelf. They said they would replace them but the night when we got them it was the only ones they had. They checked there backstock and said they don't have it anymore and could give me a refund. This was a gift my son was wanting to purchase for Christmas for me and is very upset now. I believe they should hold items like that for a couple of days to make sure someone wasn't gonna come back and get. I would understand if it was a food item or something they keep stocked regularly. This was very disappointing and think things should change.

Well, here it is — my honest review after my first visit. I’ll update it again in a few months when I give it another try, but for now, I’ve come to the same conclusion I have about I-30: it’s congested, chaotic, and everyone’s in a hurry. Finding parking feels like a competitive sport. Once inside, it’s almost impossible to shop in peace. The aisles are so packed that baskets are bumping ankles left and right. The store is enormous and spread out in a confusing way — even the bottled water isn’t all in one place! Honestly, they should consider digital signs or aisle arrows just to help people find their way. Prices seem moderately fair for now (probably opening-week specials), but the overall shopping experience feels like having a flat tire in the fast lane. If grocery carts had horns, it would sound like downtown New York at rush hour — I’ve been there, and I swear the sighs and mutters from impatient shoppers serve the same purpose. Word of advice: don’t stop too long in front of the eggs or milk, or someone might literally move your cart out of the way and glare at you as if you’ve committed a major offense. The one redeeming factor — and the reason I’m giving two stars instead of one — is the employees. They really do seem eager to help, though the store is so large that even they’re struggling to find their bearings. A few were still trying to figure out how to use their app to help customers. It’s just not for me right now, but I’ll give them credit: if Fresh waits it out, they’ll be back. This is definitely not a store for the elderly, the handicapped, or anyone who just needs to run in quickly and grab something.

This was the first time in my 56 years of life that I had ever stepped into an H.E.B store. 🏬It most definitely will NOT be the last because I absolutely loved 💖 this store! It literally has everything except the kitchen sink🚰! They have an awesome yet very organized makeup 💄 section where you can find just about ANY color of ANY type of makeup. Eyeshadow, nail polish, lipsticks or glosses, and more. I also expected the prices here to be pretty high, but again surprisingly they were very affordable. I spent well over 1 ½ hours 🕐in this store and still wasn’t able to make it down every aisle because I went on an outing with my clients and we unfortunately had a limited amount of time. I will definitely be making another trip soon since I was so excited 😆 for not only stepping into a store I’ve never been to before, but it was also H‑E‑B ‘s grand opening in a city so close to where I currently live. In my opinion , it’s a great store with affordable prices 💸💳💲, a great variety of options in every department starting from the meat 🥩 🍗all the way to the seasonal merchandise. 🎄🐰🎃🦃🇺🇸 One thing to mention, give yourself extra time and patience with finding a place to park. That was legitimately the only drawback of my experience. Have fun, be safe and Happy shopping!🛒 🛍️

Crushing experience because it will take months for shoppers to settle down. H E Butt knows Texas better than all other grocery stores. Feel sorry for the also-rans in the area because you can be sure that once the hooks are in, there will be no going back to introductory prices after these stores have shutdown. The in-store dining experience pales in comparison to the offerings at Central Market. Similarly, didn't find the cheese selections endearing. The unkindest one was the Tuna Nigiri, advertised as fresh, but with the tell tale signs of stale rice. What about mixing and matching one's own quantities of broad variety of olives? Excellent staff with close supervision by experienced hands from other stores. WHAT ABOUT 'EM POMEGRANATES! A note of caution for those with seasonal allergies: there was not a single fire marshall on duty to limit the crowd inside the store but there were abundant PD personnel. Please be careful as you come into inevitable contact with others in the germ laden atmosphere. We will have a similar challenge in Murphy in a few months when HEB crushes the competitors (except of course you know who) there too.
