Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Even though the Roanoke location is much closer to me, I choose to drive to the Grapevine location because the overall experience is much better. Unfortunately, at the Roanoke location, some employees often return inside after smoking outside without properly washing their hands, while also carrying a noticeable cigarette smell. This negatively impacts the customer experience. In addition, the staff have not been very welcoming, and the food quality has not met expectations. The Grapevine location, on the other hand, is always friendly, professional, and consistently gets orders right. It is worth the extra drive for the better service and atmosphere.

No matter if it's empty or full you always have to pull up and wait. Once that happens 2-4 are always going to get their food before you when I can clearly see came behind mein the drive through and ordered like I did. Finally my food has arrived and I do have to check it and make sure it's correct. To have to wait through 5 order that was behind you and the order still not correct is one of the most irritating things in this world. 🙄

Service is subpar, music always blaring from the kitchen area. Third time's the charm to get an order right.

Placed an online order from the Whataburger app.. Only pickup options were Curbside, Carry Out or Delivery. Selected Curbside and arrived at the quoted pickup time. Waited 30min and called the store. The manager said he was going to remake the order and bring it out asap. After waiting another 20min, walked inside with house shoes on to ask for the order to be cancelled. Observed the order sitting there. Manager said he did not have anyone to bring the order out. There were several employees standing around and several employees sitting at a table. Will not go to this location again. In-N-Out Burger from now on!

As opposed to to few bad previous reviews sometimes it's not the establishment's wrong doing on the contrary it's also consumers who carry on living life with their low stature and decide that others should reap their repercussions from their self inflicted circumstances that make anything have a bad taste
My personal experience with this location
I have been here 4 x total in the past 3 years cause I don't live in this area
But I can honestly say I'm willing to skip across the metroplex to come eat and be served at this location because of the staff and management team as I unfortunately have food allergies and have no option but to make my order very complicated and Bri from the kitchen and Brandon the cashier both catered like it wasn't anything out from the ordinary and understood my issues without thinking I'm just being a complicated customer and gave me grilled chicken an hamburger patties with veggies sides that I requested
And very welcoming and friendly about it
And even 3 years ago before I knew of my condition I always made special request on their regular combos and the staff and food has always been amazing and everything treating like priority and you can tell they are all a good team led by an amazing manager
Thank you for your amazing service and on going reputation you hold solid
