I recently hosted an event and initially planned to purchase 40 whole rotisserie chickens from Walmart. In my personal opinion, Walmart’s standard rotisserie chicken is usually a bit better than H-E-B’s. However, H-E-B’s Flaming Bird is superior to anything else available. After several attempts, Walmart in Rio Grande City never answered my calls — which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I ended up speaking with the Deli Manager at this H-E-B location to place my order, and he was outstanding. He made the entire process easy and ensured that everything was properly arranged. When I arrived three days later to pick up the order, everything was ready to go — hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The entire experience was seamless. The managers who assisted me truly deserve recognition for their professionalism and service. Because of this experience, this location will have all of my future event orders.
