  Moved to Texas last year from Chicago, this is my first time having Portillos outside Illinois. Embarrassed to say it took me a year to find out it was here. The service was phenomenal, the young man who took my order and brought out my food was extremely friendly and helpful. Outstanding. The fries taste IDENTICAL to Illinois Portillos. Hotdogs are 98% the same. I cannot put into words how happy I was with this experience . 10/10

  Ehh it was just ok. Not somewhere I would crave or come back too. We ordered the hot dog, toppings were nice but the dog itself was kind of cold and gross. It’s also really tiny. Chicken burger and strips were just ok. I didn’t really like the batter. The fries are good!!

  This was our first time at Portillo's. I was hoping it would be a good replacement for James Coney Island since the closest one is Meyerland, but I was severely wrong. I got two chili cheese dogs and my wife got the Beef-n-Cheddar Croissant. My hot dogs were okay but nothing to write home about. The fries were good as well. Her Beef-n-cheddar was also okay but the bread didn't seem fully cooked through or it was soggy on the outside for some reason. The "gravy" they served with it didn't even pass for au jus. Enough for the food, let's talk about the restaurant itself. There were three trash cans that we saw and two of the three were over flowing. There were only 2 or 3 other customers in there, with a lot of workers. Not sure why no one would change out the trash. Many of the tables were also dirty and we were barely even greeted by anyone (ordered and paid at the kiosk). The only interaction was to take the receipt up to get our cups for drinks. Needless to say, I will not be going back, I'll just drive into Meyerland. My wife said she might try a different location.

  Had the Italian...WOW... Friend had the Chili Dogs. He said the casing was a bit chewy.
