Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I really enjoyed my experience at this whataburger, I’m not from around here so I’m wouldn’t be at this location often but a huge shoutout to the manager Amber for the great service and having a nice laugh. Nothing to complain about to food or environment.

    Came in around 2:30 am. Not busy inside nor outside. Not only are the trash overflowing but the tables are not cleaned. Took forever to get our meal as if they were transporting everything from the warehouse still. 40+ minutes to be told “it’s coming right up”. Worst Whataburger I’ve visited. Besides taking forever to make the food they’re more focused on talking about not getting their behind ate in weeks. They were for sure cooking the fries one by one with how much time they took. Edit: we ended up getting a refund and so did another customer. On the way out we saw the same person still waiting in their car who was there before us. That enough says a lot about this location.

    Me and my wife were craving for some whataburger. So we went to this location. Place was clean, but our order took 40min.... there wer 3 cars in the drive thru and 2 people eating inside. There were about 6-7 staff in there and it took ages to get our small order.

    I’ve been coming to this location for years, and it wasn’t until recently that we started having consistently positive experiences, both dining in and through the drive-thru. Most recently, my wife and I dined inside and had such a wonderful experience with Persyphanie. She was extremely pleasant, helpful, and personable. It truly stood out. We also learned there had been a change in management, which definitely explains the improvements we’ve noticed. This was our first time having a manager interact with us on that level, genuinely checking in and making sure we were taken care of. The shift in staff attitude and overall service has been noticeable, and I truly believe that positive change is a direct reflection of the new leadership. Keep up the great work!

    I had a great experience at Whataburger this morning! Rehana greeted me warmly at the speaker and said, “Thank you for choosing Whataburger, would you like to try a breakfast burger?” Her tone was friendly, welcoming, and professional. She made the ordering process smooth and pleasant from the very start. Excellent customer service like that really makes a difference. Thank you, Rehana, for starting my morning off right!
